It is a pretty good series, they do not hold anything back with the violence and sex... I would not let any child watch it. It is very much like 300 with the special effects, but that was the goal from the start according to the directors and producers...

I happened to have on the TV last night as they went through all the event of the lost show. So they got rescued and went back to the island? Ok, now I know why I quit watching.

yeah tosh is funny, that guy is going to start popping up more and more in comedy type appearances.

the woman went out last night so i got to sit home and watch some tube. watched this show called something like "blue mountain ..". it was about a high school in a small town, kinda like a parody of varisty blues. kinda funny with a bunch of tig of bitties bouncing around. cant see me watchin it for more than 5 mins but those bitties were sweet.

I don't see it in the same way; I've lived with many people that shared different beliefs and ideologies with me, though I think that it's overdramatized I can see a lot of the situations generally happening, I think that it's the more day to day issues that are brought out than anything

I mean a lot of it has to do with it just being DC, I don't watch most Real Worlds at all; human/social interaction is a huge interest of mine and I enjoy seeing it, even if it is "reality" television

wonderful series, I can see the 2nd being a disappointment though

despite the aim they really didn't catch the true "guido" lifestyle

it was very tamed down

As far as their Monday night lineup, I'll take Two and a Half Men and How I Met Your Mother over Big Bang Theory, but Kaley Cuoco is pretty hot.

her recent maxim was nice, I mean I knew she had it, but I didn't know she had THAT

anyways, I'll never know a certain day or even network's lineup, I just watch what is turned on around me

two and a half men is definitely up my alley though

anybody watching white collar? saw a couple of episodes and I like it

White Collar's a fun show

I used to like Two and a Half Men, but I haven't watched it in a couple of years. Not that I don't like it anymore it's just that I stopped watching it.

Of those CBS show, HIMYM is by far my favorite. But I've been watching that since Ep 1 and this thread was about new show so that's why I said Big Bang Theory-since it's new to me

My biggest problem is that 3 of my favorite shows; 24, Two and a Half Men, and Big Bang Theory, all come on from 9-10 on Monday night. I don't have a dvr, so I flip back and forth alot. Fortunately, 24 and 2 1/2 both air their most recent episodes over the web, but Big Bang doesn't so that usually wins.

Does MTV still have that show were the mom and dad get to meet three guys and after a day pick the one that gets to take her on a trip and bang her.

I saw a CBS promo that said that is the most watched comedy on TV and I was convinced that not only were they lying but that it isn't even a real show.

I'm at the point where I can't watch any sitcom that still has the canned studio audience laughter (except for Seinfeld reruns) because I find it so annoying. My friends told me that How I Met Your Mother was really funny but I couldn't make it 2 minutes before I had to change the channel. It's pathetic on my part, I know.

Two and a Half Men is great but I think they had to stopped recording news shows because one of the brothers is in that school for celebrety drunks. I was just wondering what shows don't have the fake laughing?

watched the new sow "food wars" the other night. pretty cool. i like how they have teh judges set up.

1 judge is a fan of restaurant A, 1 judge is a fan of rest B, 1 judge is a neutral food critic, 1 judge is supposed to be a man's man from the community (former hockey player, firefighter), then 1 judge is a beauty contestant for that city/type of food.

i liked it.
Is it that different than Band of Brothers?
From everything that I've heard it will be different from BoB in that instead of focusing on a big group of soldiers The Pacific is going to primarily focus on the individual stories of three Marines. Two of the guys wrote books about their experiences and the third's story is very well documented. I think it will also focus a bit more on life back in the US during the war.
