We wouldn't draft someone with Dez' character, or lack of. He's perfect for Jerry Jones.

Don't you mean when L.L. overpursues and whiffs on the big hit only to see Bryant break free and score a 50+ yard touchdown in week one?

And I believe him when he says he didn't know about it. You think he was spending his spare time looking up how vets haze rookies in training camp?

Either way the story is killed because he understands now that he has to do that and he's already said he will be doing that, and I bet we'll see about 30 different photos of him carrying some pads either today or tomorrow, if it hasn't happened already.

This is so BS, way to insult everyones intelligence. In his defense this was more directed to Cowboy fans so they weren't affected.

He roasted that kid. Says he's been having these types of problems since Oklahoma St., and that they actually called him to help out with the situation. Interesting to hear that part of the story and what went on.

You'd think after bringing in T.O., the Cowboys would have learned their lesson on diva WRs with attitude problems. Guess not.

What's worse is, I've heard a many of Redskin fans screaming to bring in guys like TO (even after the cowboys) and Randy Moss.

If you don't think locker room presence and leadership doesn't count for much, then chances are you've never been a part of anything meaningful. (sports or life)

When I was 21-22 years ago I was extremely immature. Couple that with fame and millions of dollars in the bank I would of been a holy terror. I don't know why anyone is surprised that a 21-22 year old kid would sag his pants. Also, Michael Irvin was everything Dez Bryant is as far as maturity at this point in his career. And he brought them 3 superbowls.

Just because he sag's his pants doesn't make him a "thug". There's plenty of White guys who embrace the skater culture do the same thing. Plus a lot of young celeberties sag also. Zac Efron and Justin Beiber come to mind.

I get your point but don't get mad and act like its a surprise when you are asked to leave or pull up your pants.. I'm 24 and broke but that doesn't mean I can walk around like a thug, much less being rich.

Dez Bryant is a thug dude or maybe he's more influenced by his thug friends, if you lived in OK you would know much more about him trust me.

Hey I used to sag and i grew up in a poor black community, I'm white so it doesn't matter the color but we all have to grow up my man or else you will end up in prison
Also, Michael Irvin was everything Dez Bryant is as far as maturity at this point in his career. And he brought them 3 superbowls.
I wouldn't go so far as to say that. Michael Irvin's problems involved himself and didn't effect others around him. Yeah, he got caught in a hotel room with coc and hookers. He wasn't out in public causing a disturbance and acting like he had a sense of entitlement by breaking in front of others in line. (especially at a high profile mall)

Also, you never hear Irvin being a distraction on the field or locker room. We have seen and heard many thing about Dez. (shoulder pads, knowing playbook, etc.)

To be honest with you, you can't compare the era then to now. The Redskins used to go out and have coke parties the night before the Super Bowl (according to some of the OL), but that sort of thing doesn't quite work anymore. Not from a logical or marketing standpoint.

yeah its just not me, but to spend that much money on jewlery is outragous. I mean thats a really nice second home or investment/rental in this market. What about like a nice boat or something. I dont get spending that much on jewlery...lord ok get yourself a nice watch, ring, braclet, necklace if you into that for all like 25k, but to spend 10X that on one item? thats just insane. They are alot people struggling out here to make ends meet and i read something like that...
Wide receivers coach Ray Sherman developed a close bond with Bryant, and that probably led to his firing. When the rookie wide receiver lost his composure on the sideline, it was Sherman who let him vent. Sherman also held "Keepin' It Real Thursdays" sessions to allow his receivers to blow off some steam. The longtime assistant coach interviewed for the Cowboys' head-coaching vacancy and then was quickly fired by Garrett once he landed the gig.
And that's why Wade Phillips will always suck as a Head Coach. He has absolutely no discipline on his teams.

The receipts for more than 40 pieces of jewelry total $588,500 from second lawsuit.

267K + 588K = 855K

2010 Salary = 2.52 million

Roughly 34% of his salary went to jewelry. Mind you, that 2.52 million is before taxes, before agent fees, lawyer fees so it's very well likely that percentage is over 50-60% in jewelry just alone.

This kid is a ****ing idiot and will not only be broke when he retires from the league but most likely before it.

Guess he didn't get the NFLPA's memo about saving your money because a lockout was coming.
