Well duh. Deep plays are low percentage plays by nature. Pass-catching tight ends are usually more sure-handed than other receivers. Of course his completion percentage--which I would argue is an APPROXIMATION of accuracy--is higher.

I find it funny that the two best receivers in this generation have 0 Super Bowl rings.

I just think that the Pats will be better off now that they don't have to worry about satisfying Moss's ego. It feels to me like a lot of offenses become limited in what they can do offensively when they have to cater to a particular player above the call of duty.

That is because passing game is over hyped and over rated. Teams that are really strong in the passing game usually become overly reliant on it and abandon the run. They can become one dimensional. So far this season the strong top 10 rushing teams are winning more than the strong top 10 passing teams:

I agree, but the past two seasons you have seen an emphasis on the pass as run production seems to have gone down overall somewhat, as the RB studs of the last 5 years have gone downhill in ypg, mostly due to injury. This is one of the reasons I am not sure a 18 game season is such a good thing. RBs are getting pounded and even with the teams going to more of a dual back system it isn't necessarily helping.

Those lists are meaningless. It's an arbitrary grouping of teams.

I know, but it goes to show that the teams that are patient and do not abandon the run this year are being rewarded with wins, the teams that are going more to the passing game are not winning as much.
Look at the Cowboy Redskins game earlier this season, if the Cowboys had continued running the ball they would have easily beat us. Instead they became impatient and not to mention they love Romo, Witten and Dez.
The cowboys really blew and pulled a Vinny Cerratoo by drafting Dez and not taking a strong OL which was a much stronger need.

I generally think teams should just stick with what is working, and not try to randomize so much. If you can throw 55 times a game and score a bunch of points, do that.

Let's not get this confused: run/pass balance is split among whether teams lead or trail mostly. If you want to find teams that run the ball a lot, you just need to look at teams that lead by ten or more points a lot.

If you want to find teams that are actually good at running the ball, well, that's the Eagles, Chargers, and 49ers. Those teams can really run it...and they'll still lose any game where they don't get big plays in the passing game.

Yeah but no one acquired those guys or hoped to acquire those guys with the belief that they would be the main piece that would lead their team to a Super Bowl victory. People are so obsessed with acquiring receivers without realizing their limited impact on a teams W-L record.

Context. My friends and I exchange insults just as "bad" as that all the time. You could write a whole story about the stuff Bart Scott said to Sanchez on Hard Knocks and paint the picture of a feud between the star QB and defensive leader. Better yet if you wanted you could have painted Bart Scott as a racist. This story sounds more like two guys joking around rather then a feud.

Please. If anything women in general love the look of middle aged men over the stereotypical pool boy. I hear more women (keyword women) coo over guys like George Clooney then guys like Edward from Twilight. Women hit their peak in their early 20's and it last through their early 30's. For guys the prime years are ausually between 30 and 45.
