Re: Redskins-Colts, Best and Worst
You know, watching the Colts game, I couldn't help but to think to myself that I was watching the game that turns this Redskins team into a playoff/championship contending team. Yeah, I know, I'm drinking the kool-aid, but there is a different feel with this team as opposed to the playoff teams that Gibbs II had. I actually feel like we are building something special here, not just a team that will be "good enough" to make the playoffs a few times in a decade.
Sometimes, losses are as good as wins. Losses against high caliber teams like the Colts shows you how far you have got to go to get to that point, but also shows you how far you have come and how much you have improved. |
Re: Redskins-Colts, Best and Worst
I don't think it's kool-aid at all. In past years we would have been blown out of the water against a team like the Colts. Instead, we gave them all they could handle, according to Caldwell. There's a night and day difference between this year and last.
Kinda funny how these things happen when you look for players that can flat out play, rather than looking for the big names or guys with a high draft status.
How bout that! And SKINSGUY......it ain't Kool-aid if you can back it up. These guys have (and are) demonstarting that they know what they are doing. AND based on some of the No-name guys that are making a difference, I think they wil be able to make large strides in the off-season to find other previously overlooked talent. |

Couldn't be more truth said here. Exactly right on! |
