[quote=skinsfanthru&thru;939732]Thanks man but it was actually yesterday (tuesday) hahaha
But holy crap what a way to start the season off with!! Can't wait to see what's in store next. And yeah mooby, that spoiler scene left me with my jaw hanging open for 5-10 minutes.[/quote] Oh my bad, I must've read that as "my birthday is coming this week" or something. Happy belated birthday eh? lol. It looks like everything is going to hell in a handbasket this year. I can't wait to see where it goes from here. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Great season opener!
Spoiler: Highlight [COLOR="White"]Can anyone explain the prosthetic leg at the end? Did miss a scene?[/COLOR] |

Spoiler: Highlight [COLOR=White]Can anyone explain the prosthetic leg at the end? Did miss a scene?[/COLOR][/quote] I dunno how to highlight spoilers so no one can see them.. but in regards to your question, I wasn't sure. I was asking my friend if she knew anyone from past episodes with one and we couldn't think of anyone. Especially not anyone who'd go after him. (Him being, he who got attacked) |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
In the post reply/quick reply box, just highlight your text and then next to where the bold/italics/underline boxes are is the A with the color underneath, just click the drop down box and make the color white, and don't forget to add a spoiler tag to it so people know to highlight.
Spoiler alert: [COLOR="White"]As far as the guy with the prosthetic leg goes, I couldn't think of anyone from a past episode with one, but I suspect part of that crew is Opie. Of course, Kurt Sutter might just be leading me on and want me to think it's Opie, but that's who I was reminded of when the door busted open. Either way, prosthetic leg guy will either be a new character, or a previous character who probably suffered a catastrophic injury. I'm putting my money on new character who is assisting a previously known character. [/COLOR] When your spoiler text is done it should look like this: [COLOR = "White" ] (remove spaces from previous and next box, use it like a quote tag) [ / COLOR ] |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
In regards the spoiler question. There are three new members of the club and I believe one had a prosthetic leg. When voted in he put his leg on the fat guys shoulder. I missed it but read it elsewhere.

Now that you mentioned it, that does make a lot of sense! I see Opie creating his own club, and I'm thinking these new guys are a part of that club. Only makes sense to me. And somehow, Jax is going to need Clay's help. Side note: Imagine if the WWE had somebody like Kurt Sutter writing for them? |

What would Clay do if he found out Gemma was laying Jimmy Smits character (I forgot his name already). I was afraid when Clay was telling Gemma how much he missed her Gemma would get soft and take him back. I was happy to see it seems like she's done with Clay for good. |

I remember that scene, [COLOR=white]where the NOMAD guys were voted in, and one of them putting his leg on the SAMCRO guy's shoulder. I couldn't tell it was prosthetic though. TBH it's hard to tell unless they are walking,[/COLOR] one of my coworkers has a prosthetic leg and I wouldn't have been able to tell if I hadn't seen his limp. If what skinsguy is saying turns out to happen and the NOMAD guys are part of Opie's crew, I can only see that turning out one way. |

What would Opie's crew want with Unser? Shouldn't they be going after Clay? |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
That whole story arc i guess has endless possibilities. I don't think Opie has anything to do with it. Doesn't seem his speed.
I'd guess it has more to do with SAMCRO shutting down the various drug trades that some of the other chapters were involved in. |

[quote=DynamiteRave;940068]What would Opie's crew want with Unser? Shouldn't they be going after Clay?[/quote]
They should but who knows, maybe he feels Unser took part in the death of his father and needs to pay for his crimes. Idk which way that storyline is going to go though, maybe it's a rival crew who knows Unser is connected to the gang and needs info. Either way all I know is things don't appear to be going so well for Unser lol. |

Good episode tonight. More so paving the way for the next episode.

In the immortal words of Biggie... [YT]AZ6_Nwlgqks[/YT] Who's it gonna be? I don't think it will be one of the main characters, but it will be somebody secondary like Tig or Juice. I'm gonna say Tig. We've all known Juice's day would come ever since he ****ed up with the coke last season, but Tig's in prison and since shit's gonna get started someone has to pay the price. I think we saw his last hurrah when his daughter got killed, but he won't survive this ordeal with Pope. |
I'm only 25 min in and whoever it is hasn't died, but I think it might be Chibs. He's not a crucial part of the storyline and it obviously won't be Jax or Tig.
|
Half hour in and I think it's going to be Opie. Man they do a really good job of keeping me guessing. I think Jax doesn't have the balls to select which of his crew has to die, and it will be Opie's sacrifice.

Good job! Makes sense, Op's storyline was over. He lost everyone he loved and gave some ridiculous amount of money to his ex wife (whose name I have completely forgotten) to take care of his kids. |

Holy hell what a scene.

Yep. I tried to prepare myself but I felt a pang of sadness when the scene happened. Him and his whole family paid the price for Samcro. First his wife, then his dad, then him. Wherever Ryan Hurst goes from here, I wish him luck. I'm also looking forward to the scene where the solitary guard gets his. |

I finished watching this episode hours ago and I'm still emotionally stunned. With him having gone through so much these past 4 years, I never imagined this would happen. Out of everyone on the show he's been the one consistent person I hoped in the end would get out of it and make a real life for himself. I absolutely can't wait to see those directly responsible for this get theirs over the coming weeks and those deaths better be Stahl type scenes to make up for the death of one of the few characters to root for on this show. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
What a shocking outcome.
Tig is my favorite character but it's horrific to look back and realize Tig tried to kill Opie but killed his wife instead then Kills popes daughter which lands them in this mess. Opie basically died for Tig. By episode 7, Tig will probably start banging Opies pornstar exgirlfriend. There is too much Gemma. I can't stand her character. she has no reach and her only battle is with clay and Jaxs girl. They keep rehashing the same shit every year. I'm interested to see what the home invasion are going to evolve into. I think it will be the nomads but not sure why... |

But I agree that the arcs with her and Tara are stale. Her best arc was during season 3 with the Aryan situation which veered away from the the whole matriarch being challenged stuff. I like Tara's character but only as a piece of the Jax/Tara/Club life dynamic. Gemma's relationship with Clay is similarly interesting. I think I'd like to start see them really moving into the next phase where the show is ultimately about Jax making decisions and less about the struggles between Jax/Tara/Gemma/Clay. Hoping this Opie stuff really pushed his character towards that more. |

Saying after Jax finishes his business and Tig is on the street if Pope finds him he can do whatever he wants to him. I'm wondering if in later episodes Jax is going to harbor bad blood to Tig because Op chose to die instead of him. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
They are bringing the intensity in this show this year. Between the burning alive scene and Opie's death, very intense. Well done.
I will miss Opie's character. But the dynamic between Tig and Jax is now fascinating, especially now that Jax has flipped Tig to his side in making any move against Clay that he wants (once they're clear of the IRA relationship). |

Pretty sad considering his character on SOA was killed off as well. I liked the character half-sack although his story arch was short lived. Damn, poor guy was in the prime of his life too. Shame. |

The better question is was he really a half-sack?

What was he accused of? Kurt Sutter said he was sad to hear the news but he wasn't surprised to hear it. Seems pretty clear Lewis had been struggling with problems for quite some time. |

Not that we didn't know this already, but man Gemma is a bitch. If she died I probably wouldn't care.
|
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Yeah I mean realistically all the crap they're going through right now gets traced straight to her and Clay.
|

I started feeling for her at the beginning of the season and her relationship with Nero but I mean she's unrealistically heartless and manipulative now, especially towards Tara. Man and that scene in the garage with her, Tara and Carla. Ah man. Speaking of Carla, I hate her ass too. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Gemma and Tara bullshit sucks.
How stupid is Tara just to believe Gemma. I would be happy if they killed off Gemma, Tara and the other lady that had a baby with Jax. |

Re: Sons of Anarchy
Man I hope they get this shit with the nomads straightened out. They are seriously screwing things up.
And wtf with this Tara/Gemma storyline? Now they're friends again? Gemma really needs to decide whether she wants to be good or evil. |

And wtf with this Tara/Gemma storyline? Now they're friends again? [B]Gemma really needs to decide whether she wants to be good or evil.[/B][/quote] That's the beauty of it (not really). Gemma's just gonna keep switching between good Gemma/bad Gemma until the show ends. We're just going to have to put up with it. The kitchen just got hotter tonight, with what happened to El Sheriff's wife. More heat on the club I guess. I think it might be the Nomads who are doing the home invasions, although maybe that's just what Kurt Sutter wants us to think. They just don't feel like a good addition to the show so far, I think he might be setting them up to be the bad guys that the club will have to deal with eventually. And if they are the ones doing the home invasions than that will bring even [I]more[/I] heat on the club. |
Wow. Man does Clay need a bullet or what? I'm looking forward to seeing how the Nomads are dealt with.
