He must be on the "all you can eat" diet. I've followed that same diet myself over the years.
Most athletes eat much more calories than the recommended daily intake for non-athletes. They simply burn up more calories due to the nature of their work. That does not mean type or quality does not matter, i.e Doritos and chips vs. freshly cooked bison meat, but the point is athletes devour more food than the average guy does.

I'll start taking guesses. It's either Fred Davis, Brian Orakpo, Ryan Kerrigan, or D.Hall (I'm only including him here on status alone, if two FB's can make it a guy like D.Hall definitely could)

The only guy I can see making it is Rak.

that's interesting considering you normally want to handicap a player's results by the one outside of the bell curve. atleast that's my inherent internal function. it's a different paradigm to look at best individual performances at the micro scale. i like it.
Shape doesn't matter so much at QB. Big Ben is basically a fat slob but he produces so no one says anything. Other guys like Tom Brady and Eli Manning aren't world class athletes but know the mental side of the game so well that they succeed.

Now compare this to some of the best 'in shape' QB's.

McNabb's problems have almost always come from his lack of fundamentals not his weight. And this goes for other QB's as well. For example all the bicep curls in the world aren't going to stop Rex Grossman from fumbling once every 18 snaps.

QB is virtually the only position in team sports where you're better off sitting in a dark room in front of a TV or projector then you are spending time in the weight room.
So you're saying it was a mistake to draft the most athletic quarterback in the draft in the past 8-10 years... Crap. All those picks wasted!!!

Cruz had a huge year last season. But he has to do it consistently year after year for a while to even be considered within the top ten. There's too many wide receivers who are considered better than him right now.
I just thought the list was for last year only, still don't understand Peyton being #50.
The players probably voted Peyton the 50th best player despite the neck injury simply because we all saw how valuable he is to the Colts just from him not playing. The whole "rank the best players of 2012" thing is subject to opinion, meaning some players voted based on lifetime achievement and others voted it as meaning the 100 best players of 2012.

Miles Austin is not a top ten wide receiver. Brandon Marshall and Vincent Jackson should be on your list. Akeem Nicks is good, but he's not a top wide receiver.

That's tough to expect considering some fans don't know how to spell some starters' names on our own team.

kinda disagree. Cruz emerged big time this year, but Nicks played through injuries and still managed good numbers. In the playoffs, Nicks went crazy: 28 444 yards, 4 TDs. Cruz was still solid in the playoffs, but numbers were down: 21 269 1 TD.

I like both players, but if Nicks could stay injury free he'd be top 5 WR in the league.

Maybe, maybe not. Nicks is good, but he's not Brandon Marshall, Vincent Jackson, Calvin Johnson good. One day he certainly will be. Yes, he does show production during the season at times. But he's not the caliber of WR as those mentioned above.
