I bought into the pre-season hype. Never again. I really question whether I will see back to back wining seasons again in my lifetime since I'm roughly Dan Snyder's age, and he ain't going anywhere anytime soon.

I kind of feel like as long as Snyder owns the team, there will probably never be multiple winning seasons or superbowl appearances. And i'm not sure he cares, as long as we are selling merchandise and the seats are sold out...

Right, because winning doesn't bring in more fans and sell more merchandise. Everybody knows the 90's Patriots earned way more money than the 2000 Patriots.

Winning = Money

I will say this, if you can get media attention (like the Cowboys) that will make you more money than any other team in the NFL. Both the Redskins and Cowboys have done that.

Well, as the starter of the thread, and someone who thought we would walk away with the division, let me just say the crow tastes horrible. I know Gtripp said we should have included the lower options, and he apparently was right, but I can't believe many people foresaw this type of desolate season. To those who want to claim it, have at it.

This season really made my long drive to TC seem like a waste of F*%KING time.

It's amazing to me that so many people thought this team was going to win so many games. They got so lucky in so many ways last season and literally had every break go for them...this year was bound to be a bit of a letdown at least. Not to mention with a harder schedule.

Lessons learned all around. Don't buy into baseless hype, especially with this dumpster fire of a franchise.
