|
And who was it talking up Jason Peters earlier today?? Yeah he got owned tonight by hali
|
How can that be?? Jason Peters is the best left tackle in football!!
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
said it before, KC is a good team. they had what? 7 pro bowlers on a 2 win team last year... better coach, much better QB - profit!
they should get at least 8 wins this year. |

LOL. Eagles fans love to live in the past. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Chiefs could be a solid 10 win team.
Eagles coming down to earth a bit. That defense is downright horrible. |

Oh, it's not just Eagles fans ... |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Chiefs have had a good talent roster now for a couple years, needed somebody to put it all together. I dont think offense for the Chiefs hasnt reached its potential yet under Reid, still a work in progress. Smith needs to get the ball down the field a little more. Chiefs in double digits wins shouldnt really be a surprise.
Sorry, not giving a pass to the Eagles and Penguin Kelly, the offense has gotten worse each week. As things get put on tape, he's gonna have to adjust. Not really impressed, I was the first game, but no improvement. |

I liked him coming out, he's been a good players since he's been in the league. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
KC also plays in a bad AFC. I give them 10 wins easy
|

Doh! ...

Re: Around the NFL Week 3
I think KC will steal a game from Denver. Denver will still be the number one seed at the end of the season but with Clady being out KC will win one of their two games vs. Denver. Especially with that pass rush.

Yes, living in that glorious past of theirs. "Remember when we won the Super Bowl? Oh, wait..." At least Cowpokes fans have a past to live in. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Denver will eventually lose. They will prob go 13-3

They used to talk so much trash when they were winning the division every year. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Brandon Flowers was showing off last night, again. Quietly a good corner.

Yep. Not one of the bigger names in the league, but I think he's definitely above-average in today's pass-happy league. Also, since the Eagles haven't looked good for two consecutive games now, is it ok to question how good we are since they rode a first-half blowout to a win over us? |

But hey, Chip Kelly is a genius |

That being said, we're playing like shit, and if we get behind, it's like we totally scrap our game plan. |

Defensively they are terrible. Last night they were just sloppy on offense. I think that's what they'll be all year, a good offensive team that can put up points in bunches, but with that defense they're going to be in a lot of shoot-outs. Week 1 they were simply the better team, that's about all I take from it. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
I think the Eagles offense, especially Vick, was exposed last night by Reid. The Chiefs were playing a one-deep safety most of the night. That's unusual in today's NFL. I think Reid knows what Vick does best in the passing game and took that away. The Redskins will be taking notes from this game - for the next Eagles game.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
You have to play with a single high safety against the Eagles. They'll destroy a two high defense with their ground attack.
It's not really exposing the Eagles offense to play man coverage against them and win: they don't have a ton of talent on the edges. They do have a lot of speed, but the precision in that offense comes between the tackles. I just didn't expect the Chiefs front seven to be this good: they have four stars in their defensive front. Hopefully, Perry Riley has a breakout season, and we have the same. Can't wait much longer though. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Niners' Aldon Smith arrested for DUI at 7 a.m. this morning.
Between him and Von Miller...these kids are idiots. So much talent on the field, so little common sense off of it. Aldon had a DUI and got stabbed last year too. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
So Smith pulled a party all-nighter during a game week?

Re: Around the NFL Week 3
"On Thursday night, 49ers linebacker Nate Stupar posted a tweet encouraging people to use the Uber ride program. The NFL Players Association unveiled an app two weeks ago to encourage players to use Uber. Stupar tweeted: “Make sure you check out @Uber to get to places without worrying about driving! #swag.” "
Way to set an example. And this happened at 7 in the morning? lol |

^hilarious. I hope Peyton rips chips and the eagles a new one. Chip bout to find out how a real offense works.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
The downward spiral begins... Eagles will be 6-10 at best.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Chip will be back in college in 3 years.
|
I agree he's not cut out for the NFL
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 3

Well, they only had the ball for 40 minutes in the two games and ran 25% fewer plays (120 v. 160). So you have to watch fast or you won't see'em. |
