He is smart, like Russell Wilson, he does just enough to win you games.
He usually comes through with big plays to win games.

The chiefs will not win a SB with this offense. Reid should have gone for it on that last 4th down.

Re: Around the NFL Week 11

That's why I hope the skins continue down the path of a Offensive head coach, I love defense but in today's league it's about scoring scoring scoring, u just need a avg defense

JoeRedskin 11-18-2013 12:08 AM

Why rekick? Reid makes Shanahan's clock management look brilliant. Sorry, Reid has done a great job KC, but he is like Marty Schottenheimer. Reid will never win a SB.

Re: Around the NFL Week 11

KC, great defense, but in the playoffs they look like they're gonna get bounced first round.

Alex Smith numbers last night were terrible. 21 of 45 for 5.1 per attempt? In order for KC to win, they cant get in a hole in the first half.

Denver should win the SB this yr

So im just going to throw this out there again....before last nites game Denver and KC had a combined 17 wins! Zero of which were against teams with a winning record. Denver played the Colts, and lost. It was such an overhyped matchup.

^ Can't fault their schedules though. And the end of the day they are beating the teams they should.

Heard the same thing about the Patriots when they went to the super bowl against the giants.

As long as they are winning they will be considered super bowl favorites. They are definitely favorites.

Heard what about the Patriots? Both those teams had marched through the playoffs and beat plenty of good teams. The Chiefs and the Broncos up until last night had "played", not "beaten", but "played", one team with a winning record. The Colts. They lost. So - imo it was an overhyped matchup. Imo there are a handful of teams, Seahawks, Pats, Saints, Colts, Panthers that are all in the same league as the Broncos. As for the Chiefs - they have a really good defense - although the one good team they played last night exposed it. Imo KC doesnt make it out of the first round of the playoffs, and Denver doesnt make it out of the second.

Of course, and I wouldnt be shocked if Denver beat anybody. KC I think is way overrated. You have to admit that their competition has been unbelievably soft up to this point. Lets see what Denver does against the Pats in NE this week.

Re: Around the NFL Week 11

KC is pretty much what we've seen. Very good D, offense is very mediocre. They're a legit playoff team but I don't see them getting too far.

Honestly, there is very very very little chance we win out, but the rest of those predictions are very reasonable. Its such a shame. The division was so ripe for the picking this year.

Same as last season. We only had to beat two winning teams in '12 to take the division.

Looking into the future a few years, I think the division will be ripe for the taking. Would be awesome if we could get it together and dominate.

Funny how Carolina was able to turn around their franchise in 3 years.

That team has a promising future. They provided a blueprint on how you can rebuild your team through the draft.

Panthers always had a strong defense, just needed thier offense not to fuck it up. AKA the Chiefs. Now that their offense is playing well it allows their defense to shine. That front seven of theirs is just nasty. Can't wait to have that strong of a unit again.

Might be a little premature to say the Panthers are turned around.

Plus I remember a team going 10-6 last season in year 3 of a certain regime.

Man..

Watching Cam throw from a pocket makes me feel really bad for watching RG3 attempt to throw from his, and bashing him at times.

It's like night and day. Difference in sitting on your back foot with 2 yards in front of you, than having your guards backs in your face and defensive lineman hands on your facemask

Re: Around the NFL Week 11

They should suspend OL that do shit like this. No place in game for that crap. If you don't want DL going for QB knees than they should stop this shit.

Looked like RG3 pre-knee

Hopefully when the brace comes off we see it again.

Cam has excellent pocket awareness in his 3rd year too. Hopefully with an off season RG3 can start working on that.

Offensive Linemen and Defensive Linemen are ignored by the league.
They will probably just give him a fine, similar to Kevin Vickerson when he took a cheap shot against the Colts.

I know Brady is a whiny player but I think that was some legit bitching on his part.

Of course Gronk couldn't get back to make a play on the ball ... Kuechly was busy tackling him. I'd be pissed too.

donofriose 11-18-2013 11:36 PM

Re: Around the NFL Week 11

Good no call. Gronkowski was intefered with but he wouldn't have changed the play. I am glad that refs do not play the game by the book and actually only make calls that change the outcome.

It seems that the Patriots have been in 3 or 4 games that have been decided by late calls.
