Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Looks like the refs are back to their old ways of not calling holds. Ugh.
|
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Another holding call missed on Beatty.
|
Welcome back D.
|
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Meriweather got played like a bitch. Garbage.
|
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Are giants running some zbs there?
|
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Kerrigan has been held twice on this drive, the second one on the TD run. SMH.
|
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
...and finally our real defense shows up.
|
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
That was weird how easy that was. Even our team doesn't just give up runs like that usually. Well, its not like any of us thought it would be easy.
|
OK, this is more familiar.

Kerrigan rarely gets held. He just isn't playing well. Even Orakpo is outplaying him. |
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Come on offense.
I wish Merriweather would tackle lower |
So if the pretend good Skins are still here we will march down the field n get points. If the real ones are back its three n out time.
|
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Too many Giants fans there. Don't like it.

Last time I checked, when the o-lineman is behind you with their arm around your neck, that is usually a hold. |
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Yep 3 and out time.

Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Shut up Chris Collinsworth. He had 0.1 second to make a decision saw an opening and went for it.

Kerrigan and Orakpo do the same move where they just dip causing the olinemen's arms to raise to their neck level. Then they just flail their arms out to make it look like they are being held. There is a reason holding is rarely called for Kerrigan. Refs aren't that dumb. |
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Hmmm. Diminishing returns there on that graph.
|
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Come on, you knew Giants were going to score considering this defense.
Now let's talk about how sharp RG3 has looked! Pretty awesome so far. |

I think he is rite as much as i cant stand listening to him. Griff alot of times does not let the play develope. He takes off and is set on running. |
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
I hate that reverse bomb. It has yet to work.

Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Really beating the dead horse on the fullback dive, and now another damn punt. Geez, give Morris the damn ball or let RGIII throw it.
|
Did they really give the ball to evan royster on the goal line and third and one tonite? I know Royster is very "Earl Campbellish" but.....
|
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
If alfred didn't slip...
|
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
I would like to see Morris get the ball on 3 n 1

I can't believe Morris couldn't get the first down...he fell right short of it. |
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Lucky that long pass wasn't picked.
Embarrassing to hear such a loud cruz chant there. Love us winning though. Hope our D can make one more stop this half. |

Agreed, aside from the read option (and even that has run its course) the Redskins will pound a play into the ground constantly. It wasn't just Shanahan. Gibbs did it, Zorn did it, I even remember Norv doing it. |
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Why is our scheme so awful against the short pass? Is it personnel? We get EATEN UP with short passes.
|
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Third and long I am okay with Royster, 3rd and short I want A.M.
|
Third and long I am okay with Royster, 3rd and short I want A.M.
As long as Almo and Helu are in the game im not ok with Royster at all. |
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Awful long TV timeout.
Not complaining, let our D take a breather. |
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
Lord our D sucks.
|
Re: Giants vs. Skins Gameday Thread
NOW we have zero pressure.
