Problem is. It isn't over. Defense is giving up big plays and their offense isn't doing jack shit.

They were up 31-0 it was over folks it's y that kind of comeback happens every 20 years or so. Even watching the 2nd half I still didn't see Carolina even coming close to blowing that game. They ran the ball the whole 2nd half pretty much

Wow Carolina scores 31 points in the first half and 0 in the second.

Re: Round 2 Nfl playoffs.

Why don't players rally around Peyton like they do around Brady? I've notice that Peyton's guys always seem to falter in big games, but Brady's seems to step up. These WRs are absolutely killing this offense by all these dropped passes.

Peyton can't push the ball downfield at all. His balls have no zip. Steelers db's have missed a few picks.

Are you ignoring the dropped passes? Peyton's receivers have dropped pass after pass.

LOL......Denver's offense line is straight garbage. This is what they get for ignoring the OL.

Today and yesterday. He has the stats but chokes in big games. I would put Brady, Montana and Elway all above him (in that order).

So when his WR drop passes over and over again, that's Manning choking? Interesting.

Also, Peyton still owns the most 4th quarter comeback wins as a QB in NFL history. Nope. He chokes all the time. /s

Yeah dude, show me why he is the GO!AT. I woukd take Montana, Brady or Elway in their prime any day of the week and so would you. Manning has choked in more big games than you care to remember. Lol, his brother has more rings and has been better in the spotlight.

You know what a staw man is?

Can you break down film of those games you claimed he "choked" in and get back to me? You assume since his team lost the game, it was ultimately his fault. Unless you broke down the film and every offensive snap, chances are you don't know jack shit about what you are talking about.

Did you know that the teams Peyton has been on are 2-2 against the Patriots in the playoffs. That's against one of the guy you put above him.

No offense, but you are like most ignorant fans. You put too much emphasis on ONE guy being the blame in a team game. This isn't the NBA. Fans give way too much credit to the QB spot and way too much blame for it as well. A lot has to do with coaching and how the other positions play.

Go back and watch the Superbowl losses to the Saints and to the Seahawks, and the countless other playoff losses hen get back to me. Great regular season stats, yes. Top 5 kr top greatest of all time, definitely. But he is probably the greatest choke artist of all time. That you continue to argue against him playing bad in the postseason shows me it's you who has no idea.

Excellent response. So again, how is he better than the 3 quarterbacks I mentioned?

Anyway, where the hell do you come off saying that shit? As if it were ridiculous to say the 3 quarterbacks I mentioned (arguably the 3 best ever) are better than Manning.

So you just deflected...lol So you haven't broken down the film to say who was the blame on each snap? Yet, you sit here and claim he choked. Get the fuck outta here man.

What was the point of posting that shit article from the New England area? That moron hasn't broken down game film either.

Yeah because I really took your "breaking down" film seriously. :) Let me get right on that lol. This is just 2 people discussing a SUBJECTIVE topic. So chill the fuck out, ok?

So give me your top 5 QBs.

You would, without a doubt, put Manning at the top? With only one superbowl won and mediocre postseason stats?

Here is the thing. Most of the QBs you listed were on some of the best teams ever with some of the best coaches ever.

You put too much emphasis on the QB position. If Marino played with Belichik as his coach in New England, you wouldn't be saying Brady at all. The first 5-6 years of Brady's tenure in New England, he was more or less a game manager backed by a good defense. Hell, he's much more important now than he ever was back then.

You think Jim Kelly is a choker even though he lost 3 (correction 4) Super Bowls? You think Marino is a choker?........or does it have to do with coaching and overall team?

You didn't give me your top 5.

Your argument is full of what-ifs.

Yes, I put a lot of emphasis in the QB position. That's why he is the most important player on the field. Btw, Manning played on some amazing offenses, with outstanding playmakers (Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, Edgerrin James) and it was the offenses that stalled in all the big games.

Pretty sure Kelly choked in 4 straight superbowls. In his case it was the entire team that choked, but more than that he played against superior NFC teams in the Superbowl. Marino, his teams were never that amazing. He was the only brightspot.

Re: Round 2 Nfl playoffs.

Peyton in his prime...nobody has ever played the qb position better. The guy was a machine. He was the first to put up these ridiculous numbers on a consistent basis.

He changed the position. The greatness of the qb position when manning came into the league was farve...reckless gunslinger who was the tough, ultimate competitor. Farve got this era going and manning enter with a different approach. Meticulous, cerebral. Called the entire offense by reading the defense. Nobody had ever done it the manning way and the league became a passing league. Take a look at the numbers...proof is in the pudding.
