I believe this. Allen is the leadership on this defense. |

I’m watching highlights from around the league and we don’t have much in WR’s.. without serious upgrade in Recievers I won’t matter much who the qb is..

Re: Titans Postgame
Oh, that’s another great decision by our front office. We could have gotten Cooper, or bought in Dez. (Cooper has been a STUD for Dallas)
Instead they stuck with Doctson, and brought in Floyd. That worked out GREAT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

We talk a lot of shit about Gruden and deservedly so, but if Gruden is fired after the season and there is not even a hint about a replacement for Allen I'm gonna be ranting like a motherfucker on here.

Allen and Payne and all their hype.....yet they’ve both been MIA most of the year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I totally disagree with you there. Allen got like 55 tackles and 8 sacks. Payne has been very good as well. He got like 51 tackles and 5 sacks. These guys have been very dominate and disruptive on the dline. The problem is our ILBs and play calling. |

Apparently my assessment of Allen and Payne being MIA was not accurate, and I was wrong. Eating crow.
Fact is, if players are speaking up (DJ, Zach B, Foster, Norman then Manusky has clearly lost the locker room, and the players don’t respect Gruden enough to keep it private. Not good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If someone like a Gregg WIlliams or Wade Phillips comes in they’ll be able to get everyone playing to their strengths, and get the defense playing at a high level. We have a LOT of natural talent, and early round picks on defense. With the right Coordinator this could be a top 5. A real Coordinator could keep everyone, and get them all playing lights out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Forgetting the Titans and Doctson Post Game Thread
Who is going to come in here and take this job that's better than Gruden? The thing with Gruden is he doesn't cause any waves like Shanahan or Marty. He can get along with the current set up. A guy like Harbaugh would never come here. Greg Williams also ain't walking through the door either. We have no QB and no wr's and a te and o line that is always hurt. This isn't a good NFL job and hasn't been in a long time.
I can live with Gruden coming back but Allen need to go
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Allen needs to go 100%. But if Gruden stays...I’m for a new D coordinator (Todd Bowles, Rex Ryan) and at least a new offensive mind (deflippo, bill lazor, etc) added to staff. The offense has taken a clear step back since Mcvay has left...I think it’s actually it more of a problem than the defense. When it comes to defense, I think we should go get Rex Ryan out the booth. |
I can live with Gruden coming back but Allen need to go
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
C'mon, man! Absolutely not. Gruden is Mister Mediocre. We'll never get to the Promised Land with him as our HC. Both Allen and Gruden must go! The thing that bothers me most as a fan is that there is nothing that can be done to get rid of our greatest inhibitor of on-field success, Dan Snyder. There is no way Snyder could recognize and hire a talented GM and then let his GM hire an outstanding HC. |
Re: Forgetting the Titans and Doctson Post Game Thread
I agree with you on Snyder... my thought about moving forward with a new coach is who would want the job ? All the hands on owner types Snyder ,Jones etc have yes man coaches.. Gruden is a better head coach than Jason Garrett! So unless Snyder gets a real GM and a complete change in philosophy I’m not sure firing jay is going to make much difference.. Bruce Allen has to go and bring in a D coordinator for sure.. it will be interested for sure..

Re: Forgetting the Titans and Doctson Post Game Thread
I hear those saying we're not sure Gruden's replacement would be an improvement...
But. This kind of game is exactly why I want Gruden and Manusky gone. That game proved that even with the injuries, talent is here. A lot of holes on offense but this team has a good enough roster to compete with a team I thought we would get run over by. But with these two as HC and DC, the defense is always going to disappear during clutch time, and then the offense is going to make a crucifying mistake. And yet another one just to make the score look even worst. How many times have we witnessed a similar scenario? This roster has weaknesses, but this roster is not the issue. The coaches are. Gruden is not a better head coach than Jason Garret....Gruden hasn't even reached .500 and it appears he's headed for a 6th season in Washington....Bruce Allen is only here because of his father's legacy....which is a poor ass reason to have him as team president....after Gruden defended Manusky after Swearinger's comments I'm not so sure if he will be fired....the Redskins have a 17th ranked defense which is average...not terrible.. |

Ok, I’m going to put the bitching down, and speak seriously for a moment. It’s hard to evaluate Gruden when the past two seasons the entire offense has been decimated. He’s actually done a pretty good job holding the ship together all things considered. I wouldn’t mind Gruden staying if: Allen was fired and they brought in a real football GM, Manuksy is fired and they promote Tomsula, and Gruden hires or promotes a GOOD offensive coordinator.
