36. Same age as me. Terrible. So shitty for his family and friends. Very unfortunate.

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
Man that is terrible about Jackson. Tomorrow is not promised. He had his entire life ahead of him. So sad.

+1 RIP. At least he got to experience the high of a Super Bowl win before he passed. Condolences to his family and friends though, 36 is way too young to go. |
Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
I like these kind of articles, I hate what our picks were. Also, don't click on this unless you're prepared to be taken to a Sunday Ticket link. The NFL.com links are wildcards. Half the time they take you to the real article, half the time they take you to pay for Sunday Ticket. Stupid business strategy. But I do like their website.

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
Saw that one too, but don't like this predilection for saying Tua unless RR is sold on Haskins. To me it's the other way around; if he's not sold on Young then consider doing a Cards or trading down. Seems too many are saying his first choice should be Tua when Young is most agree the #1 guy in the draft.

It does a really good job of minimizing websites' ads. Not only that, Brave will protect you by blocking websites from seeing your internet data (i.e., browsing history and etc). |

Brave was really great when I got it, but a lot of sites are defeating it. I need to use ad and flash blockers because I only have 15GB a month of data. No way am I going to sign up all over the place to just read articles. |

That's weird.. I work on computer all day every business day so I'm always on internet, switching to Chrome (for my work) and Brave (for personal use). I rarely encounter websites that could work around Brave settings.. Did you leave Brave Shield on all the times? It is what that prevents the ads and tracking. Matty - if you are reading this, apply to have this forum verified by Brave and then I (and whoever else use Brave) will be able to send you BAT tokens which can be converted to cash on your end. It will be much easier than going to donate and paypal links. |
Not sure of my Brave settings. I usually use Firefox, but if go to a link someone has posted and it won't let me in without turning off my ad blocker I will open Brave and copy and paste the link in the address bar and see if I can get in. That probably works 85% of the time, the other 15% it still tells me to turn off my ad blocker. Brave used to work 100% of the time. For the record I have Windows 7 Pro and I have never checked for Brave updates since I down loaded it and it could of been a year. |

That could be the reason, but I don't know for sure. I know computers but I'm not whiz with it. Brave has made some updates in the last several months.. I hope you will eventually find a way to work around the NFL ads, I know how annoying it can be. |

Don't want to hijack this thread so back to NFL - I think the contract is well deserved for McCaffrey and Panthers definitely will not regret it. It will be interesting to see how much McCaffrey will get in his second contract, he will be 29 years old (assuming Panthers pick up the 5th year option). |

The NFL and the players union reached an agreement Monday to conduct a voluntary virtual offseason, starting as soon as April 20. That means that even though players and teams can't meet in person due to the coronavirus pandemic, teams can be in contact with their players and begin distributing offseason materials, if they choose.
|

It isn't just the annoyance it is the data consumed, especially if I get a video running that I don't catch. I could never defeat the Bright Cove player on ESPN, all I have been able to do messing with my PC settings is to mute it. Now it is liked I chopped the tail off the rattlesnake. I only get 15 GB a month and then I get slowed to 600 kpbs. Quite a few websites don't function well at that speed. ESPN loads really slow or incomplete. Most people probably use 15 GB in a day. |

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
Former NFL executive Michael Lombardi was told by a league source that the Buccaneers are looking to trade O.J. Howard.
"I think Howard's got a great name, but I think there's an instinctive issue going on," Lombardi said on his most recent episode of The GM Shuffle. "I think he's going to be available." Lombardi also said he wouldn't be surprised if the 25-year-old is dealt during next week's draft. This isn't the first time Howard's been speculated to be on the block as the Patriots reportedly attempted to acquire his services during last year's trade deadline. Either way, this storyline wore out its welcome long ago. A fresh start may be best for both sides. |

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
Williams for Howard? Would be interesting to see if Washington and Tampa would do it. Makes a lot of sense for both teams. Surely Howard has to know Payne, Allen, Foster, etc. Something to monitor.

I think I'd be happy with O.J. and a 4th round pick for Trent. Then we could take a good TE prospect in the middle rounds and, if we're lucky, we might be set for the future at that position. Yeah, I like the idea. |

To be honest, at this point, I'm willing to give up Williams for Howard and late round pick, just to get rid of this problem and move on. |

What the hell is with wide receivers these days? Some of them provide more drama than the rest of the team combined. Who was the first WR super diva? Was it T.O.? |

Something tells me the staff really thinks Rodgers/Thomas can work and drafting a kid. Williams has become such a headache. I'll be surprised if it does down but you never know.

I just want them to trade TW. Just to move forward from the past. I don't really care what they get in exchange - though I will probably hate whatever it is that they eventually accept.

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
What's the deal with Howard anyway? The guy gets so much hype as being so uber talented yet his season high is 34 catches. That's garbage production.

The offense is 90% WR production, Arians has never been big on TEs. I think he has some talent and can help this offense asap. Haskins needs weapons, yeah Terry is awesome but this yr he is going to see double teams unless we get another threat. Sims is a slot , it's really on Harmon to step his game up. |
