That's exactly how I felt after that interception against the Vikings.

Tough break with your rookie WR going down this weekend, G1. Hate to see that.

I do too, but since our season is riding on those two games coming up Ill have to learn to live with it. [emoji52]

I'd still rather see us beat teams at full strength, although by this point in the season, that never happens. Pitts tearing an MCL helps us a fair bit too in the ATL game, but I still hate to see it. Knock on wood, we've been fairly fortunate so far -- Wentz's injury gave way to TH, and we've got enough depth around other injuries (Roullier, McKissick, Young, less so Holcomb) to manage around them.

Are the Giants who we thought they were?? hmmmmm

They were due for a let down but to just get blasted like that home to the Lions??

Lions are no joke. They were inches from beating Philly, Seattle, and Miami. They have won 3 in a row. Little shocking how bad they beat the Giants, yes, but they are far from the same old Lions. I like Dan Campbell alot.

I don’t want to see anyone hurt, but as far as beating teams at full strength goes, well …. Ill take the advantage if it comes our way. Lol. We have been on the short handed end for years. It is nice to finally not be ravaged by injuries.. knock on wood again.

Hate to see anyone go on IR, but one less weapon for our upcoming opponent:

@FieldYates
The Falcons have placed TE Kyle Pitts on injured reserve.

Pitts has been a total flop this year, fantasy wise at least.

Definitely one less thing for us to have to worry about.

Pitts on one leg could still out run Bostic. Anyone notice that struggle session?

Saleh thinking about benching Wilson:

Heard Garrett Wilson went off about how bad the offense was yesterday.

Let's be honest - I'm pretty sure his comments yesterday about not having any sympathy blowing a close-to-perfect game from the D didn't win him any fans inside the locker room. He really needed to fall on the sword in that moment, instead he basically said fuck'em.

Wouldn't be surprised if that sealed the deal for Saleh - Saleh's job is on the line if he doesn't do anything.

I can tell you right now one thing they need to fix on D that the 49ers will exploit. Running to the outside perimeter, they have had issues there and need to fix it.

I’d take him as our OC lol. He’s not a HC in the NFL. He’ll probably go back to college

I'd pass on him altogether personally. But it's moot, you're right, he will get a big fat college contract to be a HC.

Not sure why they even put him out there. It's not even fair to him at this point. He can't help it that he can't run.

Would Jimmy G have been a good pickup for us instead of Wentz?? With our D and the weapons we have on Offense we are a Qb away from a real contender ( not bashing TH either) ..

IIRC Ron and co. inquired about Jimmy G - he was coming off surgery and they had reservations. No doubt he would've been a better pickup than Wentz.

of the crop of available QBs for 2022 Jimmy G is looking like the best one and no one took him.

Imagine if we had grabbed him; we have a upgraded at QB and SF be struggling with a backup since Lance went down. The playoff picture sure be clearer.

That's what people forget when it comes to him, He's pretty accurate and has one of the fastest releases in football. His arm is average but that release makes up for it. I never understood why people hate that guy, is it because he looks like a Male model?

Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 11

this is a horrible story but its burned into my mind i will share it here since we really don't know each other

in my old hood i was pretty good friends with my next door neighbor and our families were close. The husband was nice guy kind of funny very metrosexual guy. the families were close enough that they stop in uninvited and sometimes we just walk right into there homes.

One Sunday we had planned to watch football together and had made the plans the night before. So i head over on sunday and figure the guy is in the basement where we normally watch. You have to walk down this long hallway to get to the TV room, the TV faces you as you enter the room and the sectional couch is facing the TV. I walk in and the screen is frozen/paused on Jimmie G's face during warm ups or whatever its like 12:45. I keep walking and look down on the coach and my neighbor buddy has head phones on staring dead eye at the TV and just lets say spanking the monkey like it stole something from him. I didn't say a fucking word turned on my heel and just walked right back out.

I didn't hear from the guy all day; I am assuming he forgot our plans that day to watch football. I never brought it up and honestly really never hung out with him much afterwards. I really have no problem with him being gay; its just seeing another man as a heterosexual male spanking his monkey its hard to ever see him in a different light.

His family end up moving out of state and last I heard he had gotten a divorce.

I have never even told my wife that story.
