Thanks. This is the first board where I have not been able to post my own avatar. Since it's a picture of my dog I doubt it will be added to the library.

I wanted Bobby Wagner 2 years ago when he was available. I agree, they need at least one vet LB as well as a good vet signing or two on the interior OL.

I hate seeing teams reach to fill needs in the draft. Peters has a long record of finding talent in the later rounds. Fill most of your holes in free agency and go BPA in the draft is my preference

I think you need to have a certain number of posts before you can add links. We have had people join this site simply to spam personal stuff, so some buffers were put in place. But yes, members can post links.

So what is the word on Ricky Stromberg? To be honest after 45 years as a hardcore fan I had checked out last year as it appeared at the time that Snyder would never go away.

So I never read any reports on how he looked in camp and preseason. As center is obviously a huge need he seems to be a key player. Anyone have an info on how he has looked since he was drafted?

That says he views Quinn as a players coach and a potential winner. And not in the long term (Allen wants to win soon). Of course it still depends on Quinn's staff and Peters work on the draft and FA, but I'd class this as a positive sign.

There was an article about the 9ers reviewing their defensive performance against the Lions and they were pissed with the lack of effort. Young was singled out as loafing on several plays.

What a waste - incredible athlete. He’s Nuke LaLoosh without Crash Davis.

I was actually thinking it might be better thay he plays and his half assed effort leads to the Cheifs winning touchdown. Not sure which scenario I prefer.

I was looking for upgrades. Gonna have to spend money for those. Not that we have to break the bank for every free agent, but I hope the bargain basement shopping days, for positions we need to upgrade, are over.

I would love to grab some guys coming off their first contracts, played well in minimal time and are ready to be a full time starter without breaking the bank.

It absolutely makes no sense. Quinn went against this unit 2x's a year and dominated them. And as my son, the Giant's fan, says; they had a high round draft pick that made zero progress and actually regressed under his coaching.

Defensively the coaching staff is looking good, but on offense it is a bit of a head scratcher to say the least, obviously Quinn is tapping into his network of defensive coaches but what sort of offensive network does Kingsbury have?
