I dont think we'll hear anything until his surgery is done.
Yup. He's not the first guy to injure his knee, or even re-injure his knee. Plus he's young, in great shape, is highly motivated, and will receive top notch treatment.
But just in case, if anyone wishes to give up their Robert Griffin III jersey in favor of buying their Kirk Cousins jersey, I will be happy to take the Griffin jersey off your hands! :) |
Re: As long as RGIII is 100% for 2013 training camp...
I have heard that it is a better situation if its only a partial tear to the acl and I've heard that's what Robert is hoping for. If you go back to the first giants game I remember being scared on a fumble and he went down awkward and his knee bent similar to the way it did Sunday but he got up and was fine. You can see the play on the highlights if that game, I'm hoping it looked worse then it is and it's just partial. fingers crossed. If not, I have tremendous faith in Robert to work hard and come back even better, he has the drive.

My wife gave me mine after the game as a consolation prize...lol! I was so upset over the game, she felt she needed to give me my birthday present early! I haven't tried it on yet. Might wear it to work on dress down Friday. |
He''ll be arriving at Dr. Andrews' office around 1:30. So nothing before then
I expect up to the moment reporting from you Mr. SmootSmack. It's why I pay the big bucks to be part of the particualr chat board. Photos from the waiting room, exam room and up to the moment videos of Griffin as Dr. Andrews examining him. If Griffin screams, manly like of course, I expect to be the first to hear the sound bite. Time to earn that insider rep with which you keep taunting us! |

[YT]3nbSBlSpsmM[/YT]
That commercial is so fake. Everyone knows Freeney's laundry room is painted in Lilac. |
We also saw Wes Welker come back relatviely quickly from an ACL injury, Carson Palmer came back early but was never the same. I am taking the wait and see approach before I get all gung-ho about everything.
Yep. Probably the best approach Quake. |

Ah ha! I knew it. I bet you guys have the same agent too! I smell collusion, conspiracy, co-mingling and other co-bad stuff. I can't prove it so it must be true!! I blame it on pie, the Simpsons and Question 3. |

They had a orthopedic surgeon on Sirius XM NFL Radio this morning who said just the contrary. If it is completely torn they can do surgery to reattach the muscle to the bone. If it is a partial tear, surgery can most likely not be done and the ACL can not repair itself due to its place on the inside of the knee, basically giving you a weakened joint until you completely tear it. The MCL and LCL which are on the outside of the knee can repair themselves with therapy and treatment. That prognosis scared me. I hope it is just his LCL and not his ACL being partially torn as previously speculated. |
