I'm telling you, over the weekend I watched some film of him and came away impressed. He's gangly when he runs but otherwise he throws well and gets the yardage with his feet if need be.

I'd get PM, Weeden, and Osweiler. Osweiler is supposedly a 4-5th round pick..... yeah right.

Take PM.
Get some (2) FA WR's.
Trade back in the draft.
Take Weeden (maturity-age) late 1st.
Take Osweiler second round.

This way we have PM if healthy and two, not one, but two healthy young QB's to develope and hope one pans out if not both.
Huh? So Weeden sits till he's 31 or so... and Osweiler stays on the bench behind both of those guys?

Luck to indy. Manning to Houston. Schaub to Washington. Grossman to dumpsville.

I don't want Schaub.

That's interesting man...Houston is arguably the most likely AFC destination for PM. Instant SB contenders.

Houston is a SB contender with Schaub now.

Schaub and Shanny Jr wouldn't interest you? Get Blackmon as a poor mans Andre and this offense could turn around quickly.

I'd be happy with schaub right now...

No Schaub wouldn't interest me. Enough with other teams QBs. Lets go get Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. I'm sure they will be deadly as well.

Schaub's problem has been staying healthy.
Kiper is, and always will be, the man. Glad to hear he's for real from a trustworthy insider :)
Schefter-leave him alone and let him do his work

Clayton-Pretty quiet but not rude. Generally on the phone anyway

Mortensen-Did you know this about me? Did you know that about me? Chatty and pretty outgoing, but you sometimes wonder if it matters that you're in the room

Kiper: Hey The Goat, how's Mrs. The Goat? Did she ever end up taking that pilates class you were talking about last time? I saw this article in the NY Times about a new game show that's being filmed out here and I know The Goat Jr. likes Robot Giraffe fights so he might enjoy going to a taping.

Redskins likely to pass on Flynn at QB | Washington Examiner

Many of you are probably thinking, "Why is this guy bringing up Flynn again? We have moved on from him!" Its not that I think Flynn is necessarily the answer to our QB problem, but I do think he is a viable option. He could be the answer, even the best option available.

The Examiner article seems to suggest that the Redskins have not moved off their opinion of Flynn since his exit from college. The story fruther observes that many NFL scouts now have a very different opinion of Flynn, but oh no, not the Redskins! The Redskins are not changing their dogmatic view of Flynn as an option for our QB starved team and fans.

This article just rubs me wrong. Of all the names mentioned as possible successors to Grossman, Flynn seems like one of the best and most logical options to me. But since the Redskins are unwilling to change their early/initial view of him, they will not likely consider him as a QB solution in 2012.

Leadership changes, but it seems that the Redskins get stuck with old ideas and just cant seem to move off them. Just like Manning, there is a lot of new info on Peyton, his injury, his prospects for rehab and recovery, and the effects of all that on his passing skills. But somehow, I get the impression that the Redskins still view him as a Super Bowl, franchise caliber QB. What about the new information? Shouldn't that matter to us? What about the empirical evidence that we have on Flynn? Surely that matters!

Evidently not, the Redskins seem to be still stuck in the "once established, never change mode" when it comes to player evaluation. Sorry for the rant, but the Redskins need to wake up, catch up with current thinking, stop being so D#&N dogmatic in their views of facts, and the impact those facts have on player performance. Skills erode; players get worse; some players get better with experience and instruction. WAKE UP!:soapbox:

I don't think the Skins are alone in doubting Flynn.
