No I know he is. I should have said "And what has he done?"
Point is don't get all caught up in numbers. If you can play, you can play. The combine is really only good for a few select players, like Chris Johnson, or guys with character questions that need to pass in the interviews. Vernon benefited from the combine. So did Bo.
I didn't say draft him high either. I just said holy shit a 306 lb guy running a 4.71 which is pretty incredible. Bruce Campbell only ran a 4.85 by the way. Somehow you've taken this and applied other meanings that aren't there. Campbell hasn't progressed mostly due to his ethic from what I gather in a few articles, which has nothing to do why he's failing. If you don't have the work ethic to go along with physical ability, it isn't going to matter much. |

The fact is, at the time he wowed the critics at the combine with his forty, and had lots of people talking. This Armstead guy is doing the same thing. |

Its the combine, it really does not matter. Too many combine busts to even list. |
Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
Texas A&M WR Swope ran a 4.34, Goodwin official time at 4.27.

Yup, good size, production and speed probably means 2nd round pick. |
Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
Gavin Escobar is a name shooting up draft boards. Great hands, supposedly the best for TE in this draft. Only problem is he needs to improve run blocking. But his draft profile sounds a lot like Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzales, formal basketball player with good athleticism and can stretch defenses.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
Not good news for Star Lotulelei. I imagine this has killed his draft stock quite a bit. Hopefully it turns out ok.

Hopefully Star is ok and will fix/help/correct whatever is wrong with his heart. |

Saw this what do you think?
http://fanspeak.com/washingtonredskins/2013/02/25/why-the-redskins-should-consider-stockpiling-picks/ Didn't we do this like two drafts ago. |

However, since the draft is deep but light at the top, everyone might be looking to trade back. Thus trading down may be harder to do this year. |
