Re: The Never Ending Thread
BBC NEWS | Health | Eating at night myth 'exploded'
Good post, but I find several issues with it. 1- Speaking at a Society for Neuroscience meeting in New Orleans, the scientists said claims that eating late lead to weight gain may be "an urban myth". Even after their research, they could not come up with anything conclusive. 2- It was done almost 4 years ago, and still nothing concrete. 3- Those were monkeys, and monkeys eat at all times of the day...how many fat monkeys do you run into? You have to use human subjects. |
Yeah, but can your husband give someone a 3 month ban ;) OK....gotta go. Going to use my mod status as an aphrodisiac :)
Seriously though "I'm a Warpath Mod" never works as a pick-up line. Sigh Anyhow, these new "flavored" Cheerios are decent; vanilla, strawberry.
Oh c'mon... I'm sure you have a ton of groupies hanging around. I mean... what about EQ? He's completely enamored with you. :) I don't like Cheerios. When I'm feelin really frisky, it's Flinstones Cocoa Pebbles all the way. |
Re: The Never Ending Thread
Yeah, I don't like carbonation either.
I need to drink more juice though. I don't think I get enough vitamin C.
I usually don't either. I take a multivitamin and drinks lots of OJ.
Hey... what do you guys think about fish oil supplements? I just starting taking them. I hear great things about them.
I don't know anyone that has taken them, so I can't give you an answer on that. Let me know what you think of them though. |

I used to hate Cheerios and Kix as a kid. I still don't care for regular Cheerios. (I'll just ignore the EQ comment) |

There are quite a few doctors who are recommending it to their patients now as well. This is a great article I found on MSN. Long... but worth the read.
3.7??? That's it? Come on soldier, buck it up and get that 4.0!
Na, I'm happy with a 3.7 because I earned it. I never cheat, and I do not pay somebody else to write my papers for me. I probably learned more from that .3 than I did the rest of that 3.7. |

ABC News: Myths, Truths and Looking Good
Good link. Now I am very curious about a concrete study on it. I've tried to find one for either (proving or disproving) but have only found people's opinions. |
