Or maybe there are reasons why he was a 7th round draft pick. Would you have any concerns about giving him a big money contract based on little we've seen from him? |

He's had one brilliant game out of 3 or 4 total, so using my completely logical theory that means he's worth a 5 year, 100 mil contract with 50 mil signing bonus. Lock it up! |
Re: QB Apocalypse: The Seventh Sign
Smootsmack, has there been any mention of Ponder or Sanchez?
I can't imagine MIN is willing to give up on Ponder yet, but M n M just discussed the possibility of them drafting RG3. If MIN were to draft RG3, I would hope the Redskins would take a long look at Ponder. I could see Sanchez leaving the Jets though, and while I've never been a huge fan of him, he's certainly shown he has talent at points in his career. |

Not that I've really heard Sanchez? Yeah, for sure if Manning goes there. |
Re: QB Apocalypse: The Seventh Sign
Ya I can't see Minny giving up on Ponder this early, but when M n M brought it up I figured I'd ask.
Sanchez could be a solid option, bring him into compete, draft a mid rd guy like Cousins/Weeden. ES really is going to shit a brick come draft day, I think.. |
Re: QB Apocalypse: The Seventh Sign
Let me ask the M & M guys what that was all about, if anything
|
Re: QB Apocalypse: The Seventh Sign
If I had to guess it's just some Minny fan caught up in the RG3 hype sending in a tweet or e-mail.

Re: QB Apocalypse: The Seventh Sign
If we bring in Sanchez I will cry.

Especially if we have to give up picks...it'd be McNabb Part II. |

I was under the assumption that the Jets would give us picks for Sanchez. |

Me three. |
Re: QB Apocalypse: The Seventh Sign
I guess that means that we must try and sign PM at all cost. Just to avoid having to acquire the Sanchise from the Jets.

Didn't sound like anything. Just hypothetical discussion of should the Vikings make a move for the QB. And in response to a fan asking about getting Luck or RG3, Golic says Ponder was a surprise pick but he think the Vikings will stick with him |
