They offered someone that job I applied for. They didn't call me or interview me or nothing.

I called that lady your sister told me to call, and she told me that. She told me to apply to the other branch manager positions, and I did, but the fatc that they haven't contacted either of us didn't look good. What is the deal with that? Whenever we apply to someplace far away, they don't even call us.
