I bet! I have friends who are huge Ravens fans and they have already put the Ravens in the AFC Championship game even before playing the Texans yet.

I hope the Ravens mind set is the same way so they get sent home.

Me too. Personally, I'd love more than anything to see a Broncos/Texans AFC Championship. Out with the old, in with the new.
No love for Brad Johnson? Our only NFC East Championship season since Gibbs I?
I stand corrected I almost forgot about Brad. I remember he lit it up for the first 10 games before he wen't down with that injury. Never was the same when he came back, that's probably why it slipped my mind.
If you think the Jets player, moral, locker room and coaching situation are in better shape than the Skins......I have some of the same for you.......
Do we really know if there aren't two or three Redskins players who think that Rex Grossman is awful and is preventing the Redskins from winning? And if there are, wouldn't that make the Redskins locker room just as bad as the Jets?

I'm glad that we generally sign players with some modicum of discretion as to what they say to people, but I wouldn't go as far to call the Jets locker room a circus and pretend like the Redskins have it better. The Jets apparently have some jerks on their team. They'll get over that.

When "If and then" occur....ask me then....
Until then, I am....sure I would rather have our situation. I'd rather not be in the negative speculation business as the reality of team building is enough for me....
What would cause you to do front flips?
Having Luck or RGIII drop to the sixth spot.
Why would Indy give up a healthy Manning, if they release/trade him it's because his neck injury is worse than they originally thought it was. He wouldn't want to come here and I don't want him. Give me Bradford or RGIII.
Why? $28 million dollars is why(as well as the rest of his contract kicking in). Having a day 1 starter (Luck) is why. Manning asking to be let go because of said rookie is why. They very well may keep him after drafting Luck (and they will draft him), but it depends on his health and if Manning asks for his release.
I would be pissed if this Madden 12 plan went through.
That isn't a Madden 12 plan. It's actually a very good plan.Getting Manning as a free agent (if healthy) seems almost to good to be true. It all depends on his health. A Madden plan would be trading Cooley for a 2nd rounder, and Moss for a 1st rounder. That's a Madden plan.(aka...make believe)
Manning would never come here. He wants more rings we are too far off for that happen in the next few years. PM will be a in a wheelchair by the time this team catches up to him.

NYJ is a perfect fit for him. Great def, weapons on O, etc...
New York Jets will fall off big time next year. Their run defense was horrible this year, and their O-line broke down. If you read that article I posted about teammates blasting Sanchez, some of those same teammates said he became shell shocked from all the hits he took due to the bad pass blocking and inconsistent WRs/RBs. If anything, the 49ers would be the best spot for him.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search

I agree NC. If Manning is available we have to get him.

Even if PM is healthy the Colts and the new GM maybe ready for the Luck era to begin and be fine with cutting ties with a fat PM contract to rebuild the team for sustainable success in the future. They have the #1 pick and the opportunity to have the new franchise Qb for the next 10 years.

It really does seem surreal when you are talking about the Colts possibly releasing a healthy PM for a rookie, but the case can be made for such a situation.

Manning v Manning twice a year would be a prime matchup for the league.
