We paid a high price, but if Griffin ends up being a special QB for years, it's worth it. This IS the type of trade that could set a franchise back a decade or so if he's a bust, though.

That said, Luck is 99.9% going #1.
Trying to decide between Luck and RGIII is like trying to decide whether to sleep with the hot girl or her hot friend. You're winning either way.

Both are a 6-7 out of 10. Nothing out of the ordinary, behavior-wise.
Here are the Redskins 2012 picks:

1st
3rd
4th
4th (JC trade)
5th
6th (McNabb trade)
7th

That is still a lot of picks.

Didn't realize we had that many picks this year. Hopefully we will find some quality depth, and get lucky with a starter or two in there, if not for this year then next...

Needless to say, now more than ever we need to make those late round picks count.

The change to the entire NFC landscape is immeadiate:

Romo 32 year old
Vick 32
Eil 31
RGIII 22

This is a new trend. I like it.

That's way more picks than I thought we had. Its not as bad as 2009 or even 2010.

Compensatory pick..No explanation needed (probably from Rogers leaving)

Great article from steve wyche examining the rg3 trade from all angles NFL.com news: Rams-Redskins trade impacts more than just teams involved

QB's win more games than DE's.

What about a compensatory pick for Carlos Rogers or Stephon Heyer?
