Kirk should agree to give the Redskins a 10% discount if they fire Bruce Allen, get a deep threat wide receiver, and Snyder issues a public apology for the whole RG3 fiasco.
Snyder has to go, or the rest doesn't matter. He'll just replace Allen with someone crappy like Cerrato, or undermine anyone good he gets like McCloughan or Shanahan.

I think Elway will come after him hard if he isn't signed right away or tagged.

Speaking of Cousins, "A lot of teams would literally kill to have a quarterback like that," Denver linebacker Von Miller said. "The list is long."

Let's hope the Skins FO plays it smart with Cousins this time around and gets a LTD done.

If I didn't know any better I'd swear Von Miller was cluing us in there. Broncos are another team who are one decent qb away from contending again.

Along with every other team that doesn't have a qb too I'm sure. But nah, Kirk isn't the best qb in the league so he doesn't deserve best qb money.

20 million per year - sign him immediately
25 million per year - sign him immediately
27.5 million per year - eeeeeekkkkk, could use that extra money to bring in more talent, but still should probably sign him
30 million per year - damn, is he really worth that much? But do we want to start over?

Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?

Of course Denver players are drooling over Kirk, they could have made noise this year with any halfway decent starter.

It still amazes me Elway thought they were set with that mess of a QB situation.

Wasted year with their talent on D.

we wont have a choice, we'd have to draft a rookie and sign a vet to compete with.

So was it Elway or Manning that really won that ring? I know both did but everyone was saying John is a genius GM... Doesn't look that way right now. Since Peyton they have been bad

The best part of this scale is that we could have had him at 20 mil 2 years ago, and 20 mil would be right around middle of the road as far as qb salaries go today. Way to go Bruce!

Even Manning with half an arm still drew respect from defenses. He looked like a genius back then, now it looks like the SB win enlarged his ego so much he thought he could win with trash at qb.

Bottom line is the Redskins will have to match Matthew Staffords contract or pay Cousins more. If you look at their stats for 2017, they are almost identical.

And detroit has built a good roster around him so it is possible..
