Re: QB Apocalypse: The Seventh Sign
Let's say we don't sign Manning, what would you guys rather have:
QB RGIII RB Helu/Royster/Hightower FB Young WR Hank/Gaffney/Dwight Jones(3rd round pick)/Royal/Rainey TE Davis/Cooley or QB Tannehill RB Helu/Royster/Hightower FB Young WR Hank/Blackmon/Royal/Gaffney/Rainey/Moss TE Davis/Cooley
If Tannehill more generally means "the guy GTripp thinks is the next best in this draft" then option the second. But if it literally means "Ryan Tannehill," then give me the first option. I do think the Shanahan's are starting to sour on Tannehill because his broken foot has prevented Mike from getting a look at Tannehill in the two most controlled environments: Senior Bowl and now Combine (though he'll be there to interview). I would expect Cousins, Foles, and Weeden to all have pushed themselves up into second round consideration (or really late first; 30-32) for us. Wild card remains Osweiler. I can ensure you the Redskins like the guys above. I can't tell you what they think of Osweiler, though he seems like the kind of developmental guy they could fall in love with. |

Because I guarantee you he won't be there at #6. |
Re: QB Apocalypse: The Seventh Sign
I'm so, so, soooooo tired of the speculations. I'm just going to reserve further comments about the quarterback position until Free Agency (if I can fight the urge.)

Seriously though, nothing to report right now
Except for a massive 7 team trade in which we acquire Mark Sanchez... |

Yep, No one is gonna be there at 6. IDK why we are even scouting anyone in this draft. Just forfeit the pick. |

Sarcasm gets you everywhere huh? My reason for saying this is Blackmon is an elite talent and I just can't imagine all the teams in picks #2-5 would let him slip by. |

Sarcasm is like Visa: Accepted everywhere. Everyone projected to go top 10 is an elite talent. Only person in this draft you can guarantee won't be there at 6 is Andrew Luck. So instead of everyone dumping on someone's proposal by saying: " I guarantee player X won't be there at 6." We acknowledge everything after Luck is a toss up and answer the question. |

Well how come I can't have an opinion? What if I want to think he won't be there? And I say so. And so you chastise me for my opinion? ;) I love you too. PS, Visa joke is funny. |

Seriously though, nothing to report right now
LOL! I figure there will not be anything much to report at least until the end of this week. I'm on board with bringing Mark Rypien back if he's still willing to play. |

Doug has more left in the tank. You have to keep all options open. |
