To me it's a great approach. Exactly that get the ppl in front of you and vice versa. There's at least one step in the process starting early. I don't mind a long list of candidates at all.... it's all about perception tbh like in any sale... they will either think "shit they really are doing the due diligence and wanna find the best" or ... if we interview only 3 ppl... " damn they really are only going after who's at the top of the list they have"

So I'm Gucci af with this approach either way I think it sends a message. How mofos perceive that message?, don't care. Just know that the message has been sent and the world has been put on notice.

Nothing is guaranteed , he could be looking to see what Washington offers and see if SF counters.Supposedly we won’t get a 3rd rounder for EB if he leaves. Has to be on staff 2 years minimum. a. The minority employee hired as a Head Coach or Primary Football Executive has been employed by the employer-club for a minimum of two full seasons. Yeah, thats a shame. He is under contract though so we could make the Chiefs pay if they want him back, but don't think Josh will be that sort. Likely he asks to be released from the contract if he doesn't get to interview for the HC position.

Because they were smart enough to keep swinging at the QB position. They took Lance in 2021 and took Purdy with a late pick in 2022.

Keep swinging at it until you're sure you've hit. We might take Williams or Maye but if we see someone we like in later rounds we should take them too.

Robert Griffin III gave rise to Kirk Cousins. Trey Lance gave rise to Brock Purdy. That's the model, keep swinging.
