Well, I was kidding (sort of). League-wide I'm sure there will be some deals announced in the middle of the night tonight, and plenty more tomorrow.

EDIT: for the record I do not think we are signing all of those players.
Probably not but it was fun too imagine. Who knows it can happen or at least some of it. You sure got 53 pumped:)
I thought maybe Matthew Abaddon because he "helps people get to where they need to be" or whatever is was he said yesterday
But he's not durable. Plus, Shephard can drink like a true Hog.
If we got T. Suggs and Hanesworth I'm cool. Re- sign Hall, trade betts for a 4th, trade down for a low 1st early 2nd and thats you're offseason.
no way in hell the redskins get all 3 of them. although it would be nice....

For what it's worth, just got word from a "source close to the Ravens" (and I think it's pretty reliable, she's been 4 for 4 for me in the past) and she says Jason Brown is coming here.

As for my "source close to the Titans" (she's new, I only recently met her) is being non-committal about Haynesworth

I know bro, we'd be lucky to get 1 of them.

I can't say if Jason Brown lands on the Skins there is any excitement on my behalf. Not much there IMO.

Re: 2009 Free Agents

Do we really need Jason Brown? I mean he's probably an upgrade over Rabach but we shouldn't get into a bidding war for him. We have bigger needs. If this is true it shows our FO is just throwing money away for fun.

John Clayton expects Haynesworth to be signed by somebody 1-2 hours after midnight.

Brown would be a very smart pick-up for us. See post # 344. He shouldn't break the bank. There's a fairly good market for Centers this year.

Pat Kirwan at NFL.com has Brown rated as the # 7 FA overall. Pro Football Weekly has him rated at # 11.

I have the flu but I don't have anything scheduled for tomorrow. I doubt I can sleep until I know what's going on with free agency anyhow. Whatever we do, I think we''ll be better off than last year and will upgrade some positions of need.
