So our 2018 QB is under contract with another team. I couldn't see the Chief's trying to leverage that situation at all. Great plan. |

Really hate how they have done Kirk. As really they keep on hanging and guessing. If he does not get a long term deal. Really it will be the Skins and fans loss.

Maybe he pulls a Brad Johnson on us, goes to Denver, wins a SB with them. It'd really cap off this incredible story arc of how to fuck up having a franchise qb. |

How many playoff games did Kirk win? Kirk is not the answer. Why pay 27 million to a QB who can’t lead his team to victory in the big games? ie Giants last year ie playoff against Green Bay. 4000 yards season. Red Zone efficiency terrible. What wrong with that picture? He is a dink and donk QB . No long ball accuracy. Compare Kirk to Russell Wilson. Compare Kirk to Drew in NO. Compare Kirk to Tom Brady. Compare to Carson Wentz. These are game changing QB’s That is who you pay 27 million. One last thing.Drew team scored 2 touchdown s in 3 mins. and beat the Redskins. Kirk had the same opportunity. Need I say more. |

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
This is exhausting.
When is the deadline again? |
Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
It’s just funny to hear someone call Cousins a dink and dunk QB while at the same time lobbying for Alex Smith. By the way neither are dink and dunk, both are in the top 6 in yards per attempt.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
I'm ok with kirk on a reasonable deal if not try to have a trade with another team before you you give him a huge deal.

It is both funny and completely inaccurate. Jesus effin Christ. |
Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Kirk is far from that, he's always in the top 10 in passing down field in fact he was 1st last yr.
Reed and Norman have to restructure or one hit the road. Lauvao, Long, Hood, Hall and others will be gone too giving us additional space. Kirk can be fitted.
Norman wont do that and he shouldn't be asked too. He's still a top 10 CB |
Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
I don’t understand the concern over Norman. His cap number was $20M this year and goes down to $17M next year. He’s very durable - the games missed this year due to the broken rib were the first time in his career he has missed more than one game at a time.
Everyone can see our problem on defense is inadequate pass rush and lack of speed at MLB outside of Brown. When Allen went down and we faced the better offenses in the middle of the year, we couldn’t get any push up the middle. Norman belongs on a winning roster. But Mason Foster must be upgraded so we can cover TEs using either MLB, and we must get a speedy edge rusher and one more disruptive interior DL like Allen. |
Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Reed on the other hand has a cap number of $10.5M and needs to be healthy to be worth that cap space. I would agree that the team should talk with him about converting some of his salary to an incentive that will pay out based on number of games played.
Realistically I doubt that works out for the Skins though. He’s so valuable when healthy, I don’t think the team would have the cahones to cut him if he called their bluff. And I think his agent would know it. |

Norman is fine, he's in his prime |

i wouldn't be opposed A Smith if we fuck up the Cousins QB situation. |
