Yes. Rice will be better, though. I wonder why we didn't sign him. Maybe $4 mil a year for a fullback just seemed to expensive.
I'm still pushing for us to sign John Kuhn from GB... Dude is a thumper. |
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
McLain is still out there and Nick Barnett to the bills
I have a couple of buddies who are WVU alums and still head down to Morgantown a few times a season for games. Apparently it's pretty common knowledge that he's a big pot head, he already has a few kids by a few different women. Also, I'm pretty sure one of the reasons he went undrafted were character issues (in addition to being small and oft-injured).
The kid did have a rough childhood. Both of his parents were drug addicts and both have died from AIDS. Pretty tough.
i thought he went undrafted mainly because of his size and his foot injury, i'm a pretty big wvu fan and all i remember hearing about noel was his his workouts, dude is jacked, i would still love for the skins to give him a look. his chilidhood was brutal pretty sure he was also a witness to his best friends murder too |

Wow, that would be a great pick up (McLain) Sent from my Samsung Epic 4G. |
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
So David Carr goes back to the Giants, which means that if we didn't re-sign Grossman there is a QB potentially out there with experience in Kyle's offense (Sage)..but I think (hope) we keep Grossman

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
Grossman is playing hardball. He wants to be paid starter money. If this was an uncapped year then I'd pay him. But since the cap is back I wouldn't give him starter money. It would be a bad hit for us in the long run. Go after Bulger, Brody Croyle, Farve or trade for sweet Jimmy Clausen, LOL!

Croyle or favre? SMH

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2

I saw potential in him back in 2007. He was my quarterback...my fantasy league quarterback http://www.thewarpath.net/275814-post13.html |

Anderson is the new Josh McCown. Actually I take that back. No one can manage to continue to find work like Josh was able to over the past decade. |

...a younger version of Jake "the turnover machine" Delhomme. |
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2
The Panthers are loading up on QB's.
How long until we make the trade for Jimmy Clausen? |
