a few years ago an ex said she was pregnant with my baby. she even had this engraved baby pic book that said ("my name's" first baby) with a picture of a sonogram on the front.
i said i want a paternity test. found out the only way to test is after the baby is born. a supposed miscarriage and a few months later, i found her invitro fertilization papers.
well they can either test the amniotic fluid or actually pull a small amount of the tissue in the uterus and then of course match to the father I've heard about another technique where they just pull some of the mother's blood since it apparently has DNA of the unborn child in it but know nothing about it |
Re: Haynesworth is Behaving Selfishly
Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS)
Chorionic Villus Sampling is usually performed at very early stages of pregnancy, generally around the 8th to 13th week of pregnancy. During the CVS procedure, a catheter is inserted through the cervix and a small sample is taken from the outside of the gestational sack by gentle suction. This sampling procedure allows the obstetrician to obtain a small amount of fetal chorionic villi (trophoblastic tissue) which is used for the paternity test. Paternity tests conducted using CVS samples are just as accurate as tests which are performed after the child is born. |
Re: Haynesworth is Behaving Selfishly

Still, they are skipping voluntary OTAs. This happens in every team, and folks just need to stop crying. |

Agreed my only point was that some are doing it for different reasons. |
Re: Haynesworth is Behaving Selfishly
Do the reasons really matter? In the end the guys aren't there. And it's not a big deal until the workouts become mandatory.

There you have it - the sticking point. I don't think that those on one side of this issue will ever convince those on the other side of the merit of their position. Nevertheless, I would be curious to know the number and percentage of people on this site who stand on each side of this issue. How about putting up a poll on this topic, specific to AH? Let's find out what percentage of the people on this site think that it is a big deal that AH has chosen to skip the voluntary portion of the Redskins' off-season program (OTA's and mini-camps) versus those who think that it is not a big deal as long as he attends all of the mandatory events. Would you do that? |

Yes they matter, say I don't have a contract ....I'm not stepping on the field without one that's good business sense that people can understand, say I'm not there becuase I think I know more then the coachs and don't need to learn anything new ....well that's a little bit different. Mattyk it does matter when you're trying to create team chemistry. |
