Haynesworth won't fetch Johnson. Hell, I think the Lions didn't want him to influence Suh.
Snooping over the Jackson mega boards @ ES and everyone is trying to decipher TK's new riddle on this issue...Just the messenger here...

Apparently there might be a trade looming with a team that roars and runs a 4-3 defense...
That part was easy,as I have that as being the Lions..(And Schwartz is hayneswroth old coach from Tennessee)

Question is...is it just Haynesworth or are we trying to work a deal for one of their WR's in a trade...?

I'm wondering if we aren't trying to trade for Calvin Johnson? I've heard they are not happy with him over there...who knows? Or someone else...

Maybe Shanny feels he can get a younger and better potential prospect cheaper than what old A.J. Smith is trying to screw people with...lol

Wouldn't that be crazy?
That's what you get from reading ES...crazy.

If Matt Millen was running the Lions, I'd believe anything. Since he's not, there is no f*cking way that the Lions would trade Megatron. They could easily be 2-1 right now if Stafford had not gotten injured. If BA can pull this off, he might as well try his hand at trading Santana Moss for the entire Jets offensive line (or Nick Mangold)

I really think TK is being facetious with the members there. Unless it's Lavarleap56 and a couple others, insider info is not forthcoming.

And I swear I read some article in which the Lions didn't want Haynesworth because they didn't want him ruining Suh.

Here it is:
Worried about influence on Suh, Lions lose interest in Haynesworth | ProFootballTalk.com

Not Florio, some dude named Michael David Smith.

Yeah, the whole "The Lions are unhappy with Megatron and want to trade him" thing seems rather far-fetched.

Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"

umm TK makes vague statements that ES members wet themselves over thinking he has inside info. he doesnt. a few years ago he used to make more direct predictions that he shrouded in a cloak of "i have inside access" but then he ended up being wrong on.

now he makes these vague statements so that he can never be right or wrong.

TK is a joke, jerk and one of the many reasons why i personally stay as far away from that site as possible.

why do you have to relay whatever mind-game ego-stroking post he makes there over to here? i digress thoo, im havin a bad morning.

MegaTron in a skins uni with santana as the numero dos and big armed mcnabb throwing the ball???

Sounds great, only if our OLine can give him a chance to chuck the ball down the field.............

btw.........not EVER going to happen.

A.J/Chargers will blink and the Redskins will get VJ for a 3rd and 5th!

I think I know what A.J will eventually do...

He does not want to take the chance of VJ holding out all season as his agents appear to be very serious about this.

He knows he just can't get the compensation for what he wants and the Moss deal will be what helps him make this decision imo..

I do believe him, when he says that he wants more from AFC teams in compensation than what he would take from an NFC team.

But here's the kicker...he's gonna want to screw VJ as much as possible I believe...So he will trade VJ to a team that has a week 6 BYE (trade deadline) or beyond.

This narrows the teams that get VJ to this list imo (NFC Teams)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Week 6 bye=Cardinals,Panthers
Week 7 bye=Lions
Week 8 bye=Falcons,Bears,Giants,Eagles
Week 9 bye=Niners,Rams,Redskins
Week 10 bye=Packers,Saints

This would give VJ,one less game even beyond his suspension which will justify A.J. giving in and blinking...imo

Now the only teams I can see possibly getting VJ,would be the Rams,Panthers and Redskins of that list above.

Rams=Bradford has played well with what he has,but with their injuries..VJ could help big time, not to mention that they are in the hunt at 2-2 to win the division!
Panthers=similar situation as Rams with Smith going down and Clausen getting the start now but this would be a move for their future, as they probably feel they aren't winning it this season.
Redskins=Outside of a few plays here and there from Armstrong and Moss,Shanny will want to give McNabb some help that the Eagles never did in his tenure there. Plus, this will be important with Portis out and Shanny going with a running game, even he's not sure about. (I see Roydell as the odd man out, giving us VJ,Moss,Armstrong,Galloway,Thomas and Banks) Could also be Devin Thomas with all we are hearing,so who knows here?

But this is the tricky part...we don't have the 2011 picks that A.J. and the chargers want...The Redskins do not have a 3rd or 4th rounder in the 2011 draft. (Mcnabb and Brown trade)

..and we aren't giving them the 2nd that A.J. wanted or the deal would have been done by now. (we even already have a contract set up for the guy at 4 yrs/44 Million)

So I see the Redskins giving them our 5th rounder. (the one we swapped up/down to get Carriker for a steal) in the 2011 draft and our 2012 3rd rounder.

This is better compensation than the Moss deal(and Holmes) and what the chargers would get in compensation in the compensatory pick.(Which would be a very low 3rd rounder after everyone has picked in that round) btw..his agents said he would sign a cap 1st year friendly deal as a free agent to screw the chargers out of their 3rd round compensatory pick as well...which helps in us trading for him too.

So there you have it!
I expect a deal to go down sometime next week after the Green Bay game, that has to made before the Colts game as the trade deadline hits. But who knows? That A.J. seems to be a stubborn fool..lol

Lets hope A.J. blinks! :food-smil

ugh I thought this was a thread with some real news, merging with the existing VJ thread.

For someone who claims to "know" football, you sure let your own biases cloud your judgement.
