Does anyone think that maybe Laron is sitting out of camp just so he can miss training camp, and that his Achilles is fine?
I doubt that very much, like Matty said, Landry is itching to play.. I went to training camp yesterday, saw Landry doing some exercises. Really I don't believe we need to worry about him, he will be fine.. He's tough as nail |

I think he said he was tearing up watching practice. Dude loves to ball. He's not a faker. |
What's up with Jammal Brown?
There is no sign of right tackle Jammal Brown, who on Sunday signed a five-year, $27.5 million contract. Also not in sight is undrafted free agent linebacker Kyle O’Donnell, a Liberty University product. The Insider - Your daily source for news and commentary on the Washington Redskins, by Mike Jones. - The Washington Post
You may have been eluding to this....
In addition to releasing linebacker Robert Henson, the Redskins cut Liberty University linebacker Kyle O’Donnell.
|
Re: Training camp 2011 thread
Also this....
Defensive lineman Joe Joseph was cut Saturday.
|
Re: Training camp 2011 thread
So we cut one from the Pup list and one from the Active list?
Henson- PUP O'Donell- Active Does this mean we have only one active slot left now? |

^ I like. "19. One early observation and I’m not sure it’s completely accurate, but it seems as if the inside linebackers are able to run more freely to the ball in practice. The D-line might not be the NFL’s best, but if they can at least be effective, then this should continue."

Keim is one of the best in the DC media, imo. I love reading his stuff. |

No doubt, Rich Campbell too, though more so last year, but camps did just start.. from 2 of the less likely papers |
Re: Training camp 2011 thread

Re: Training camp 2011 thread
i'd hope two big money free agents and a 2nd round pick for 3 DL spots would open up some room for our LBs... that kinda seems like a keen grasp of the obvious, but i guess it's better than hearing that those guys are junking it up.

Re: Training camp 2011 thread
im excited to see how our rookies do this year. particularly helu, jenkins, hankerson & (hopefully) neild. i think they all have some real potential.
i hope royster makes the practice squad as well with helu, hightower & torain as our backs. |
