I no longer listen to or read a word Jay Gruden says anymore, unless it's commented on here. It really is appalling to me the way he talks about players in public. We've got one more season of this loser and then we can move on to the next loser Snyder hires. |
The defensive scheme and coverages must either be different and simplier in Buffalo than it was for him in Washington....or he's not being asked to do much and doesn't have as much responsibility in coverage like he did with the Redskins.....
Or he is playing with one of the best defensive lines in the NFL. |

I think it's more that DJ has been mailing it in on his routes and the coaches know it. He's frustrated that the QBs can't get him the ball so he's half assing it. They talked about that on the radio Monday morning. |
Re: The everything Gruden thread
anybody else tired of jay gruden and the bs he says?

Might be because he's not 100% yet, heck one throw to him by RG3 sailed over his head and you could tell he didn't have the gas in the tank, he needs a little more time to get healthy. As for Gruden: Gruden is the kind of guy who likes to pass the buck, nothing is ever his fault, it's always someone else who isn't performing. |

Re: The everything Gruden thread
This is incredible...I'm starting to question Gruden's intelligence and sanity...

What else is he going to say? Classic coach speak.

Respectfully...I disagree...he could have used the old line... "Well that is not my decision, that's up to the team management" Or something like that. |

"Well that is not my decision, that's up to the team management" Or something like that.
He did say that. Along with there will be plenty of change among players and the staff. |
Re: The everything Gruden thread
So both DJax and Garcon are extremely POed about lack of a good QB here?
|
Re: The everything Gruden thread
Additionally, I have yet to hear any interview with JG that he does not state matter of factly, that he and his tribe need to do a better job coaching, etc. He shoulders a share of the blame at each.....juncture

Re: The everything Gruden thread
They should implement mandatory film study. I think it's a big problem for this team in general.

That certainly seems true with the Defense! |

I wouldn't blame them but I haven't seen too much via DJax complaining. In fact his numbers aren't too bad. 1100+ yards... 6 TDs. Not as good as last year's but not bad at all. He was definitely making something out of nothing. I know Garcon's numbers took a huge dive from last year so he can't be too happy about that. We all know how antsy DJax can get so I recommend us getting a functional QB before his contract is over. He'll leave and will make no qualms about letting us know what's really going on behind closed doors at Redskins Park. |
