If he signs with the Redskins only time will tell if he's as good as the fans here think or if the Panthers were right. It's a gamble and sometimes you need to follow your gut feeling. One year flash in the pan or the real deal? We'll see if he signs with the Skins.
I like this gamble better than the Giants gamble of Janoris Jenkins 62 million. or Byron Maxwell 63 million or Joe Hadden (immensely overated) 67 million.... |
A new fear[same as the old one]. Is there ANY possibility Snyder or BA forced this deal? Or are we all now sold on football people are in charge?
Sent from my SM-P550 using Tapatalk
that was my initial fear but then I started to look into it, and He is the prototypical Scot corner so while I have little doubt that Danny boy wanted him and is in full support, this has Scot written all over it. |

Sent from my SM-P550 using Tapatalk
This is not the first big money corner he has signed as a GM so it is not unusual for him to do this. He loves big physical corners with attitude. |

That's a very good point. |

Re: Redskins Free Agency 2016
Janoris Jenkins, Byron Maxwell, they are good corners but they are not game changers.
Norman was FIRST TEAM ALL PRO. |
Re: Redskins Free Agency 2016
If we get him, just hope Norman performs better than Clements did. I kind of remember him being the top corner at one point and he went there and just did OK.
I LIKE that he does fit what we do, but I worry about the dynamic in the locker room when you're giving someone a giant contract. I guess we've earned enough goodwill extending our own that people wouldn't think "same ol' Skins" again. |

Norman is an emotional leader in that Panther lockerroom. No worries about fit. |
Re: Redskins Free Agency 2016
Ahh, love hearing that. If two people with deals ending this year are saying that, that's not a worry for me then.

Re: Redskins Free Agency 2016
Unbelievable folks still calling this a "Snyder" move. Get the f*ck out with that thinking...

He wasn't terrible, but the point is McC is not afraid to make a big move. |
