The way it has played out, why not be a conspiracy? The dude is in now cleared by an "independent" MD? It is a rather elaborate ruse to buy time to see if Cousins can ride with the first string offense and maybe put feelers out for a possible trade. The Skins will try to save a bit of face, but the whole thing is a big farce at this point.
You may be completely correct.......

But then again you are probably talking completely out your ass in Total speculation unless you are connected to the organization with some...actual... insider info? The list of potential scenario's that....may be true is endless
Question is why was he cleared to practice all week?

The handling of it all is definitely questionable.
It could be that. Or it could be a mishandling by the team's medical staff. I mean look at the clustef*ck that happened when RG3 injured his knee back int he Shanahan days.

Well it's an independent doctor that would have to clear him. So first he's fine, now he's not. The whole thing is just mad fishy. Plus the news comes on a Friday night, a convenient news dump night when teams or the league don't want to take too much direct heat on something. Just a bizarre situation.

I just think Dan wanted griff all along and mike really didn't have a true choice in the matter. We have all heard the rumors of mike wanting Tannehill. Then u see Dan out dancing with griff a few times and it's just like that's cool and all but I literally can't stand DS anymore. The sight of him makes me mad so I'm just over this whole experiment, here is something that I'd never thought I'd do, every year before the season I buy new skins gear last year I couldn't because I left for the army and now this yr I really don't think I'm buying any. I would always hype the skins up with friends etc and I just stopped. Idk man it just has such a fucked up circus every damn yr I'm really just over it all. Ok sorry for venting like a bitch
Why can't the organization get all their sucks in a row?

The brain doc should have never cleared him in the first place if he wasn't sure.

And if Gruden wants to bench Griffin just man up and put your big boy pants on. Let that guaranteed contract BS your shield. Unless at the end of the day your not ready pin your career on Colt/Kirk?

But the way this went down is suspect.
Well said. I tell ya this organization is an embarrassment. This organization was cursed the day Danny boy wrote the check.

WTF is going on here?? This all seems very strange to me. Are the Redskins trying to cut bait? He practiced all damn week long and didn't even seem like he had a concussion. Now he's not playing for a few weeks? What a clusterfuck situation this has become.

Redskins put in RG3 and he sucks, people complain.

RG3 may be returning after his injury, people complain.

RG3 may not be all that well after all, people complain.

Yes, it seems fishy, but who cares. We're probably not going to have any of these QBs on the roster in a year or so.

Cousins job to lose now. If Griffin never plays again here consider it a good thing.

it's not rocket science, play him if he's healthy.

2012 is proof, he knows how to do it

It really is a fucking cluster fuck. How was he cleared to practice for the week, with RGIII not even knowing if he had a concussion. NOW, you have some doc saying to hold him out due to the concussion. Really? Really? This organization is a mickey mouse operation starting with Dan the Dumbass. Hopefully we'll get some secret video of him being a racist one day so he'll be forced to sell the franchise.

I didn't think he would last the season.

I guess the reason I'm not going all conspiracy theory is that this situation is reminding me of Jahvid Best's final seasons in the NFL and him retiring due to concussion issues. Specially since RG3 has had a previous history of concussion and the beating he took last week.

And if the team is trying to get rid of him, oh well. As I said before, moving on to the next QB.

The same doctor that ruled him fine changed his mind based on further analys, what does all of this have to do with your rant?

I just don't get the outrage.

I almost feel guilty with how GLAD I am to hear Cousins may/most likely WILL be the starter week 1.

I always liked RG3, but at this point, the saga needs to end.

And it's not me "giving up" on RG3 or anything like that. I'm simply done with the side-show. We can blame the media all we want but at the end of the day, Cousins doesn't generate that kind of drama. As a team in re-build mode we need to rid ourselves of any added issues.

I hope this doesn't happen, but there will be drama if KC starts firing of INTs.
