Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
When I watched the Texans, Packers and the Lions it makes me even more mad at EB. Those offenses were called and scripted perfectly this weekend. Then you look at ours and just nothing but horseshit chuck and duck.
Maybe EB would do a better job in year 2 knowing the players strengths and working under a better HC. But I’m not interested in finding out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
While I doubt it'll happen (he gets an offer), my money is on them waiting it out to see if he gets an approach for a HC or another OC position, to get compensation. There are enough HC candidates to go around as it is, and I doubt anyone wants to expend picks to take him. Betting he's let go soon after a new HC is appointed, but I doubt he goes before. Likely he'll be back in KC next year.
Is there something in his contract that we get compensation? |

The number of downfield plays is insane. Another thing worth mentioning is the action at the line of scrimmage. QBs were calling out blitzes and checking out of plays. I don't think we did that very much this year. Jordan Love dissected Dallas pre snap. |

I know he wants to prove he can create a winner without Brady but guy has been in the league forever and in his 70s now. He may pull a Joe Pa and just coach as long as he can stand. |

He wants to pass Shula. He's an egotistical fuck. But that's basically a requirement to be a successful HC. He won't retire until he has the record or no one will hire him. |

This would be like going to the athletic version of Jones/Zappe. If we don't even want him, then you know dude is WAY past his prime.

He's what 72, his options are likely limited. Don't think there's a long line of teams looking to hire someone that age. |

He's already started to tarnish his legacy. He shouldn't go to a place like Atlanta to try to make it better. Maybe, all he does care about are his pockets and passing Shula. Just don't see him turning the Falcons into a contender anytime soon if he lands there.

Does there need to be something in his contract? If he's under contract and another team comes calling, don't they have to offer compensation to us to release him from it? Maybe unless there's specific wording about not being offered our HC position when approached? |
