C'mon Brud, you know the rules don't apply to us.

Like our parents used to say, do as I say and not as I do.

word!

Musicians should be able to speak their minds just like anyone else. But I don't give their opinions any more weight than I give to the crazy homeless guy who sits on the street corner and screams about the government implanted microchip in his ass.

However, Pink can give a reliable assessment of the merits of penile implants.

They can...just not when they're being paid to sing. :)

What? So politicans can't speak their mind about non-political issues(Bush and religion)because they are paid to serve the state? That really is not the best logic Buster. Artists are paid because they choose to sing as a living, just because they are being paid does not mean they have to conform to your guidelines. And if the record label has guidelines, then fine, they will not sign them. But apparenly the label that has Pink, is fine with her songs, there really isn't anything wrong with her saying whatever she wants.

Regardless if you are being paid or not, you can speak your mind about anything, as long as it does not adhere to the guidelines established by whoever is paying you. Even then, you can say whatever you want, but you just might lose your job.
