sorry for jumping the gun on you guys. It actually doesnt seem that bad once I got my initial reaction out of the way and thouight about it. I mean I still wouldnt do it because we need help on D like there is no tomorow, but I see possibility in taking him, we can trade him for alot, or if we like him we could possibly trade campbell for alot (once again, Im not saying I want to do this, Im just saying that it is a risky move that might pay off in the long run)

That, and the fact that if Campbell doesn't work out...well, we're just skrewed. We have no viable back up plan. No, Brunell and whats his name aren't good back up plans.

I have this ugly sinking feeling that we are going to take some peice of poo QB in the later rounds. Kind of like that kid we took out of Indiana (hamden) a couple years back that never played a single game.

05- Jason Campbell (1st round)
03- Gilbran Hamden (7th round)
02- Patrick Ramsey (1st round)
01- Sage Rosenfels (4th round)
00- Todd Husak (6th round)
94- Heath Shuler (1st round)
94- Gus Frerotte (7th round)
92- Chris Hackel (4th round)
90- Cary Conklin (4th round)

Minus Jason Campbell (cause he hasn't had time to show himself), what do all these picks have in common...Oh yeah...THEY SUCKED! Oddly enough, after our Super Bowl win in 91, we haven't had a really solid QB, and the ONE we did, we got rid of (Brad Johnson). So I think the fact that we had our worst years during 92-06 is because we haven't drafted a good QB, or got a good QB to lead us.
