Adams' best days are way behind him now.
behind him? any pun intended, because he is big time over weight and out of shape? |
Re: Sam Adams ...
Trust me, you guys do not want Sam Adams. He has constantly had problems staying in shape, and if you look at the time frame of his release, it coincides with the first mini-camps.
Adams showed up to mini-camp teetering around the 400 lb mark and the team simply said ENOUGH is ENOUGH and they released him. |
Re: Sam Adams ...
I like the Boston Lager, actually I love that stuff - always a good choice.
I like the Brady skit the best, but there were some other good ones mentioned here. I would be surprised if we signed Sam Adams, don't think he would get into the rotation much if all are healthy, but if he's only 33 he may be worth a shot. I thought dude was like 36 or so. If we sign him, do we start selling his beer at Fed Ex? |

Sam Adams - Football Player: Wouldn't touch him with a woman who got throat cancer from oral sex
Sam Adams - "microbrew": Good stuff. My fave is the Winter Lager. Good bite on a cold winter's night. Samuel Jackson Lager: Dave Chappelle: Samuel L. Jackson Beer - Google Video - This is good motherf***ing shit, motherf***er. Best Skit: White Supremacist Black Blind man. Prince and Wayne Brady are classics, but that Frontline style skit had me laughing pretty damn hard. |

Jack is sort of like an acceptable evil. Kind of like Darth Vader. Dude is bad to the bone, but at the time of his passing, he will be good, again.......Like Jack Additionally, he poses some interesting, intelligent counterpoints in otherwise Redskinland |

Re: Sam Adams ...
I would sign him for the vet minimum if he was willing to sign for that. It can't help to have an experienced back-up DT knowing the health history of Joe Salvea and C. Griff.
He could be someone to step right in (if injury occurs) or join a rotations right away considering he knows G.W.'s system from Buffalo. |
Re: Sam Adams ...
I mean can't hurt!

It's not a good move to bring in a guy that can't get out of the way of his own shadow for any amount of cash, to include vet minimum. NO WAY! |

Re: Sam Adams ...
Doesn't give us a real option for the future, so he doesn't really do us any good.
Competition is good, but we dont need him "clogging up" the depth chart. |
