I've been listning to Joey T. for so long it seems as though he never goes away, and you know what to expect from him. You can count on him not being critical of the Skins. He's not so bad, I've heard worse.

I like Joey T. I think he does a great job. I love the fact that a ex-REDSKIN great is on TV and talking about the old days under GIBBS every chance he gets. What the hell is wrong with that?! Are you a complete asshole, anti everything Redskins no matter positive or negative like all the assholes that post on the washington post insider? I cant stand fans like you to be completely honest. I fucking hate poser ass fans who complain about EVERYTHING just to complain. All I have to say is you people who HATE everything about the Redskins cause YOU think YOU have all the answers should find another team to root for. I saw your previous diatribe and don't wanna get into a thing with you. It's obvious that Joey T is your uncle or something. And honestly, broadcasting aside, he sounds like a great guy. I can speak to his generosity, at least anecdotally: he once contracted a friend's moving company and tipped each mover 500 dollars in excess of the regular fee. Good man and a good Redskin. But the Superbowl was honestly one of the worst broadcast performances I've ever heard, and I've heard some stinkers.

Anyway, I think it's really, really tough to make an argument that Theismann is good on TV. Unless one just asserts that he's good because all Redskins are good at everything, and that anyone who disagrees is not a real fan. That's probably the best one can do.

i hope this post wasn't directed at me. if it was, then you are the one who's the asshole. i prefaced my statement that i like JoeyT as a player and the fact that he helped us win a SB.

all i said was that i dont like him as a tv commentator and that his rant on Ricky Williams was way over the top. sorry, i think it's okay to criticize a former redskin and it's also okay to admit that Daryl Johnston does a pretty good job on tv even though he's a former cowboy. it's called maturity. you might want to look it up.

i've been here for ONE day and made ONE negative post and now you've decided i'm a poser-ass fan who only complains and hates everything about the redskins?? really? your ridiculously unfounded and childish rant couldn't have been for me...

Dear djnemo65 and Rainy Parade, I must confess that my rant was more fueled by the constant nonsense and negative post I read on the redskin insider. It seems like that place is filled with people who no matter what the Skins do they bitch and complain about it. And no Joey T. is not my uncle, although that would be kinda cool don't ya think. Yeah hes def. not the best broadcaster and not the worst either, there are a lot worse for sure. I obviously didn't hear the international broadcast and it sounds like he may have been instructed to explain football 101 in a kindergarden fashion for the 1% of people who don't know the game. But anyway my rant was not directed to anyone in particular, rather to all who take [I]every[/I] opportunity to bash anything Skins related. I had worked a 14 hour day followed by 3 tasty german beers and a shot of jager. And by the way I used my shuler and westbrook posters to start my fire pit years ago. Anyway Hail to the Redskins brothers!
