Re: Famous Redskins Fans
If I remember right, a couple of those guys are graduates of Seneca Valley High School (about 30 minutes north of DC) so it would stand to reason that there may be a Redskins fan in that group.
Yep. Dean Felber and Mark Bryan went to Seneca Valley, as did I, so the correlation means that I'm a famous Skins fan?
My Uncle Carl is a Redskins fan also. He once played a passed out drunk in a Hee Haw skit. I think that makes him famous enough to mention.
That is the funniest thing I've read in a while... |

Fun story, but that's no big accomplishment for Hee-Haw. I actually met 2 guys from Hee-Haw. They were twins. Don't know if they like the Redskins but they loved wearing Hawaiian shirts in Pennsylvania. |
Re: Famous Redskins Fans
Wait, why are they douches? Local guys who became famous musicians without any pop gimmicks that support the local team seem good to me!
I gotta say I think its awesome that some of these celebs are skins fans cuz i'm tired of always seeing cowboys/yankees/boston (red sox and pats) celebrity fans gettin facetime, especially when they sport the apparel and are obnoxious when their teams win. The problem is that our celeb fans aren't vocal enough in their support except for Dale jr. Although I did REALLY enjoy that one time that Avery Johnson came on the mic with the "How bout dem REEEDDskins" comment. It was at a Dallas Mavs (the team HE coaches) game the day after Brunell through those two TD's to beat the cowgirls in the last 4 minutes of the game. That win and that moment are things I will take with me forever as a skins fan. We were able to rub it into Dallas' face across lines of football into basketball territory!
I remember that, it was Darrell Armstrong who did it though. That was after the 35-7 game right ? |

Yeah it was the night we beat them 35-7. I'd be suprised if the game was even over when he said it, but thats halarious. |
