"The Saints were decimated with injuries."
"Campbell just got lucky" "Brunell knocked out JC during halftime, put on his jersey and decided to all the work himself."
Lol, your forgetting the one about Tryon knocking out Porter and then switching uniforms. Kind of funny to think about how seriosly we were considering Porter back in April. |

Re: I am impressed with the Skins
This game was so much fun to watch . . . its been awhile since we had this kind of offensive production . . . since 99 I believe (Or I guess you could count the preseason with Spurrier . . HA!) but I can't say I'm surprised. Campbell has all the physical talent a QB could ever need, and is incredibly poised, he never seems to be shaken. And Portis ran like Portis can run. Moss, however, played like he hadn't in a couple years. The moves on the screen and the speed on the end around and the TD was inspiring, lets hope he stays healthy this year.
Just to ground everyone a bit, this was a good start, but the NFC East could possibly be the strongest they've ever been. Certainly this team has turned a corner, but we are still gonna have growing pains. How many of you will stick it out through the tough games we have ahead of us this year? How many are going to call for Zorn's head the next time he blows through three timeouts, or when the slant on 4th is incomplete? How many are gonna scream for Colt Brennan when Campbell throws a couple ints in a game? This team is young, the coach is new, and we are going to make mistakes. The upside is, they ARE young, and this team WILL develop into a contender, we just have to have patience, and lots of it. |
didnt get to see the game, was running from Ike,one of the lucky ones and got power on today,Moms house underwater, but on to the skins, great to see them have a comeback win,not going to read every post, but looks like Jc had a bounceback game, which is fantastic,Moss"S stats look great, did he drop any today? Guess the punter had a really bad day, just so glad we were able to win this one, after looking so pathetic last week I wish I would have been able to see this one.Hail to the Redskins!!
Hey man, good luck and I really hope things will get better for you and your family. Oh yeah and just so JR and ST know I won't be participating in the 'Skins quiz for the next few days, work/life is interfering and my home computer has been down for about 3 days or so and idk what's wrong but I can't connect to the internet on it. |
Absolutely...I wonder what Hess will say about this?
Check the JC thread. You guys need to give me more credit and stop assuming I'm a hater and an idiot just becuase I see the writing on the wall and speak the truth (good or bad). If you think one game proves that JC is a changed man forever.. then that would make you an idiot. However, I have never seen him play that way before and it did give me new hope for him. |
Re: I am impressed with the Skins
You call us idiots and we're not supposed to assume you're a "hater". OOOOOO-K. :D

Why should we give you more credit? AT this point you have inserted foot into mouth about JC...but all I was saying was I was wondering what you would say. Not...I wonder what the hater is saying, or I wonder how that crow tastes to hess. If you have noticed, I have never once attacked you for your opinion. My comment just now about inserting foot into mouth is the most criticism I have bestowed upon you. It's like if Vince Young would have all of sudden became a good QB and people would say "I wonder what jsarno has to say about that"? Same scenario. ps- it's not only one game that he has performed well, the way JC played is more of the rule rather than the exception. He has the talent in there just waiting to come out. That's why at this point we've seen just "glimpses". |
