This is disgusting but sadly not all that surprising, given how callous and disgraceful that board and a couple other Seattle board were before the playoff game last season. Multiple fans posted several really disgusting comments about Sean Taylor that made me instantly hate anything and everything to do with Seattle. It wasn't just one or two morons either, it was dozens.

What a sick, pathetic fan base.

all i can say is .......thats right nothing theres no need to cause the lives that were lost on that tragic day still stays with us all and still does today. i still have a place in my heart for all that was lost... now to the seabag fans get a life cause it seems you don,t have one i do recall the ST crap talk last year and theres no place for that either.....
we as fans keep in our hearts what that day brought to us all and still does today and i can,t say the same about those fans or their entire fanbase for that matter.

Simple, it is based in Seattle, which since the 1990's has been like the Berkely of the 60's-70's. So called free thinking, let everything fly type of crap. Also Seattle has a major problem with opiate addiction, so who knows what has messed these folks up. On top of that their team has faltered and has never really been a threat to make a real run at the SB. All I know is that stuff isn't funny and not even us Detroiters would think of something that low, and we are supposedly the scum of the earth.

Erik,after the ST stuff from last year and now the 9/11 stuff can you blame anyone?Lets not forget that this is the first time a team has had to strong arm a website and shut it down.

Yes I can because they are taking the most extreme example and trying to paint all Seahawks fans like that. After Tony Dungy son died I remember many Seahawks fans carry signs that were sending their sympathy to Tony Dundy and his family.

Agree totally. It wasn't just one of their websites, or one or two fans, with the Sean Taylor stuff too. I can see some of their fans trying to pass off this disgracefulness as one or two idiot fans, but it wasn't like that at all. It was a lot of them. Disgusting people.

It's not just the football fans of Seattle that often act classless, the general mentality of the city is a cesspool.

I am happy that they received what they earned, to be shut down and shut up.
