Our whole ST play has regressed from last year. Plack's punts today were mediocre; Suisham missed a 46 yd FG and has a KO that was fielded on the 20 yd line. Neither Rock nor ARE has much threat anymore to bust it all the way. Average isn't good enough if you want to be a playoff team.

Ultimately, I question whether Danny Smith will survive the off-season unless the ST improve. Zorn inherited Smith from Gibbs II. I think he and Vinny will bring in their own guy and new blood for PR/KO; unless our entire ST improve quickly.

he was and he made a big mistake by not fair catching the ball.

It was obvious, based on the ball's trajectory it would stop short of the endzone. Good thing was CP and the line did their job to help us recover from the 2 yard line.

Rock is a steady kickoff returner. He is not a speed guy. He gets a head of steam and can roll with it. A punter returner needs to be quick and light and have a fast takeoff (See Randle El 6 years ago). I think a change is eminent. I think we see what Hall is all about. We are paying him next to nothing this year, so I think we give it a shot before he makes the big bucks when we re-sign him next year.
