Longtime Jaguars quarterback Mark Brunell recently said his experience with Coughlin wasn't all that bad. The two frequently were at odds.

"He was a tough coach, a demanding coach, but he knew what he wanted," Brunell said. "And his bottom line was always figuring out a way to win."

This is a game we are supposed to win, which has normally given Redskin teams problems in the past. Winning the easy won just doesn't happen. But with Coughlin as the coach expect a blowout. If not the team will need to make major improvements as Dallas is upon us.

38 - 6 Redskins Win

Skins 34
Giants 3

The offense will get rolling a little more.
Portis - 2 TD's
Coles will get more involved with 6 or more catches and a TD.
Defense will shut them down and get at least 3 turnovers, 1 returned for a TD. Taylor will get or cause at least one of the TO's.

Warner and Shockey will be out with injuries by the second half.

45-14 Redskins. the offence will look good this week, and the giants will only score when we put in 2nd,3rd string.
man, normally vegas odd are a little more accurate a week out... that's a good deal.
One thing you can count on with a line that involves New York teams is about a point or two swing. The line follows the money, and nowhere is there more gambling money than New York.

Our approach will be to punish Warner to the point that he begs Coughlin to take him out of the game. Smoot and Springs will lock Toomer and Hilliard's old asses down. Taylor sticks Shockey if he gets the ball. Leaving the Giants with good Ole' fumbling Tiki which will make their options very slim. Our defense is built to destroy our division rivals because of quick Linebackers, passrushers and shutdown corners. This is as good as it gets fellas.

i agree that this is probably one of the best games we'll have to rack up our sack count...

Skins- 24
Giants- 20

did the maden test... skins win more than giants, about a 65/35% chance on who wins... general score range: giants 10-30 and skins 17-30 or so...

(lots of tests, killed lowest/highest quartiles, etc... though it will vary depending on depth chart, player progression and so on)...

portis was my #1 HB/#3 WR, so he gets about 140 on the ground and 90 receiving 2-3 TDs (hmm...) anyways, simmed it out on all-madden for 60 minutes and it was skins 49 - giants 41... wouldn't that be an exciting game (besides destroying all those nice D rankings we have right now)...

I hate these games that we "should win". I don't think some Giant players are buying into Coughlin and the crap hits the fan tommorow in NY.

I'm right on with RedRock. I'm very nervous about this being a game we " should win" We havent had one of those since New England last season ( belive it or not, at the time we were supposed to win ). However, I think this week has shown that the Players are having some frustrations with Coughlin, and with Gibbs at the helm, I dont expect a letdown. Skins 24 Giants 7
