The fib he told doesn't mean much at all - - - UNLESS what he actually got suspended for is something that indicates a serious character flaw.

Assuming that the FO has been in touch with the Nebraska coachiing staff AND that the coaching staff has leveled with the FO, then you can be pretty sure that whatever caused the suspension was not heinous - - allegation of child porn [B]for example[/B].
