I actually agree with Elway, hes overrated in my opinion. I also agree with Owens due purely to his off the field issues, and Bavaro..well, just cause he's a giant! But Sanders??? Moss???? (unless you're talking about Santana, cause Randy is a freak of nature)

QB : Marino , RB Payton , violent runner , great receiver , blocked and could throw , Rice , Monk , Bavaro . Could have gone ,,,QB Elway , Montana ,RB's E. Cambell - Sanders , wr's Swann < J Jefferson , Chargers > TE Ditka - Sharpe

to me, Lynn Swann is the single most over rated wide receiver of all time. made the hall on what he did in one super bowl game. without looking, i would be willing to bet Gary Clark's career stats are better

You got my reasons for not wanting Elway, Owens and Bavaro spot on.

Randy Moss is excluded because, although he has immense talent I want a guy who plays hard every down.

Barry Sanders was much the same, incredible talent but only made full use of it for one season.

RB: E. Smith
As much as I hate the Cowboys, Emmitt dominated the league in the mid-90s.

WR1: Monk
One of my favorite Redskins. It's a shame that today's young wideouts don't follow his character.

WR2: Rice
He was a monster at the WR position.

TE: T. Gonzalez
In the mid/late 90s when the Chiefs were playoff contenders every year, Tony was a powerful offensive weapon.

Hopefully Orakpo will soon enough be a 3 down DE for us. I dont like him at OLB. IMO hes a 4-3 end and nothing more. He can gets snaps at OLB and fill a void but I dont think he will be special at OLB. As long as they play him at end on third downs I dont have a big problem with it but id like Orakpo to get as many snaps at DE as possible. Honestly I wish they would move Carter to LDE and put Orakpo at the RDE spot. It will never happen though.

Yet it took Art Monk forever to get in and Gary Clark may never get in. Is it any wonder some fans think there is a bias against the Redskins?

This is where I am not understanding at all. How did he only make full use of his talent for 1 season?
This is a guy that led the league in rushing 4 times! His career low in rushing was 1115 and that was in only 11 games! His 2nd career low was 1304, and he led the league with that! He led the league in TDs 2 years! Had 10 or more TDs in a season 7 times! He played 10 years and had 109 tds! Thats an average of almost 11 a season. He's had over 1500 yards rushing 5 times! Over 1800 2 times! Of course over 2000 1 time! Not to mention the fact that he was amazingly classy! So I am totally failing to see your point here.

Marshall Faulk- Best all around back ever, Runner/Pass catcher/Pass Blocker
Sharpe- (Toss up) Because he dressed up as Austin Powers for Halloween
Jerry Rice- Best Short Pass = Long run WR ever
Randy Moss- The best Deep Threat/ Jump Ball WR ever

I like my team but the players you build for yours are very nice. Young is very underrated imo. People dont realize how good he was. I also really like the Faulk pick. Faulk is another guy who people wouldnt think about compared to other top backs but he had all the tools. Your team would score alot of points.

I agree dude. Barry Sanders was a freak of nature. He was a joy to watch on the field and he has huge numbers to back up what he did on it. His numbers are just insane when you compare them to other RBs. I like a couple guys better but Barry Sanders was a icon and if he didnt retire would of been the NFLs All-Time Rushing Leader.

In the cold light of day, looking at those stats, I admit it's very hard for me to justify my dislike of Sanders.

My only defence would be that I always got the impression watching him that he could have put up even more impressive numbers. Too much dancing in the backfield and a little lack of aggression.

The exception for me was 1997 when he really attacked the LOS more than previously. If I remember correctly, that was Bobby Ross's first year as head coach. The two are probably connected.
