When life gives you lemons, squeeze those bitches. I picked up the Falcons D in my fantasy league and intend to play them. Did the same with the Chargers the last 2 weeks as they played the Raiders and Chiefs. Got me big points. You have to treat the Skins the same way for the rest of the season. There is no switch to flip. They will be abysmal on Offense the rest of the way. Reality is a bitch sometimes.
No reason for me to expect anything other than MOS. Atlanta's defense is suspect to a degree, but they can score points, something we've had a hard time doing.

Redskins 24
Atlanta 21
There isn't a Defense suspect enough for the Skins. They scored 6 points against the 32nd ranked Defense in the league. Somehow they're going to score 21 against the Falcons in Atlanta? They might not score 21 combined over the next 2 games.

I hate hate hate this cliche. Atlanta is a better team and will probably win because of that. If Atlanta wants a "revenge" then they need to go back in time and beat the Cowboys and Saints. Otherwise is not revenge, they are just desperate because they lost the last two games and as a better team they will take advantage of the situation that they are playing against a lesser team, plain and simple.

I see Roddy White handing D'Angelo Hall his jock more than once in this game.

I see us falling behind early by double digits, then failing to catch the Georgian's. A familiar script, indeed.

Atlanta is the better team. They need to win this game after losing two in a row. They're at home where they usually play well. All signs point to an Atlanta victory.

On the other hand, if the Redskins can't find the motivation to fight for a win in this game I'll be surprised and sorely disappointed.

So, I'm thinking it might be a close, hard-fought game. I'll say Atlanta 20, Redskins 17 in a heartbreaker.

I expect the worst, but hope for the best.

I expect a loss, but hope for a win. Who doesn't?

This is one of those games that until the end of the year you can't categorize it as an 'upset' if we win. Atlanta is an alright team, but not proven iMO. They may be on a slide to mediocrity after their suprising success last year. I think they're in the middle of the pack of the nfl, which is better than us.

Still, I wouldn't be surprised if we beat them. Ryan is good but has thrown a lot of picks lately. Their run game is good, but Blache's D can stuff them. Their D has a good pass rush but not much beyond avg. elsewhere.

the smart choice is still ATl, but it should be competitive. I'm going w/Atl 24 Skins 16.

If we could score more than 17 once in a while I might give us a chance.

This will be the game. Either with a Defensive TD added, or simply by getting a better effort than the first 6 weeks, I believe we will break the 20 point barrier (24 points). I can't disprove all the skepticism, but I am really hoping that the Skins do on Sunday.

I'm just curious to see how you all think the Skins will stop: Ryan, White, Jenkins, Turner, Snelling and Gonzalez on offense and keep Abraham, Lofton, Peterson, Biermann and Nicholas off of Campbell over a 60 minute game. I really fell for you all as a franchise.. we were there in 2007 with a 4-12 record so I know what it's like but it's clear that the Falcons have far superior talent on their team this year compared to the Skins.

Falcons 35+
Skins 10
