Re: Farewell to Lisa Hillary
It's crap. Constant delays and single tracking. Escalators constantly broken. Rude and ignorant employees. Even on its best days it's not like you can use public transportation to easily get around the city. You're not getting to Georgetown easily without a cab or car. I have used about a dozen public transportation systems around the world and without question the DC metro is by far, BY FAR, the worst

Thats what I say about NYC. Great city probably my favorite because there is nothing like it in the world, but I couldnt live there. I need grass in my life. |
Re: Farewell to Lisa Hillary
I feel like I could have lived in and really enjoyed NYC in my 20s. Not so much today, too much hustle and bustle. I enjoy my lake view too much. :)

I think I enjoyed it more at an "older" age because I had the means to enjoy it. |

I love Frederick, MD but I guess I'm biased because I went to college and grad school there.
I prefer Hagerstown. |
I went to NYC for a few days and I thought it was okay. A little too fast paced for me and stupidly crowded. The streets are like cramming into a subway car at 8am.
Great place to visit, would hate to live there.
Totally agree about NYC. Love to visit, would hate to live there. Thats why its great to live in Philly because I can visit NYC and DC...same for ppl living in DC or Maryland. Baltimore shouldnt be considered, im sorry. My buddy from NYC said the same about Philly when he visited "Damn, I didnt know Philly was this hot and baddass!" Totally agree with Chico, dont criticize a city based on fan rep and visiting once...any city u visit u have to know where to go! If im inviting somebody to Philly, Im telling them about Rittenhouse Square, not 5th and Diamond in North Philly...LOL...but thats any city Youre cheating yourself if u havent spent time in this city...funny line about the Fresh Prince and Bel Air by JoeRedskin (smh) and nice follow up by Chico |
