Bradford isn't getting much help tonight from his receivers

Re: Around the NFL (week 17)
So we're on the verge of having a playoff team with a losing record.

Hosting last year's SB winner next week. |
Re: Around the NFL (week 17)
A 7-9 team hosting a playoff game against an 11-5 team that won the Super Bowl last year? Count me in for playoff seeding changes. I won't argue that a 7-9 team shouldn't make the playoffs because the Seahawks won their division, but all 6 seeds should be arranged in order of record, so that a 7-9 division winner would be the 6th seed. That way they still make the playoffs, they just don't get to host a playoff game, esp. against a more deserving team.

Re: Around the NFL (week 17)
Another crazy stat from this season. Oakland went 6-0 in division, and didn't make the playoffs. First time that has ever happened in the NFL.

Leave it to the Raiders to notch an odd milestone like that

I heard on NFL Redzone yesterday that if it happened it would be the first time since like 1964 or some other year in the 60's. |
